@danielafoslin2799 Just curious, Daniela, are you still with that boyfriend? It's been about two years since your comment, and, I hope that you've chosen wisely, frankly. As you heard in this interview, life is extremely, extremely short, and what matters is the connections you make with other people. Anyway, I am just curious if you are still with that man, or if you have moved on.

This is great. Make me think of a quote from the movie click. "Remember the leprechaun, the one from the cereal ad, he's always chasing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, when he gets there at the end of the day it's just cornflakes."

Awww...I agree so much with the life scare to clear up bullshit. I always say, it would be nice to have young and otherwise healthy people have one major health scare. So they are still able to heal completely. But they'd value life so much differently. I have a progredient chronic condition that has me mostly bedbound. So I lack many of those regular things, like seeing a park, smelling the grass and just enjoy a nice day. If I get that every now and then, my joy is literally off the charts. So in terms of personal happiness, it helps to know what it feels like to not be able to have them. Another thing is super helpful. My body image shifted big time. I've experienced being unhappy about how my body parts look earlier in life, but once I experienced body parts fail, this becomes so meaningless how something looks as long as it works well enough. I have gained gratitude on a crazy level, which boost my personal happiness more than could ever imagine. I highly recommend at least the last part, which ever way you can achieve this. My view on life and death shifted as well. I am coming on 44 years old. My life span is likely to be shortened. But I really don't care. I am now all about quality vs. quantity and I manage to mainly be relatively happy and content. Also I do have friends who share their lives with me, sharing their experiences. Because they know, I am able to enjoy it. Some people get jealous, seeing people do stuff they cannot do. But to me, humankind is somehow connected. Jealousy is pointless to me. This guy is so interesting. Thanks for sharing all your experiences!

Wow! As someone with heart failure I can't explain what it was like watching this but I'm so glad I did. I am with him, if it comes down to it I want my heart in a jar too! I don't find that weird. I appreciate the miracle that it would have kept me going as long as it did. And anatomy is just so cool. So glad these two encountered each other on this day. PS it feels weird that we don't know his name! A first name would be great, but maybe he chose not to provide it.

I have to say, Thoraya…. Your mission, and everything you are trying to convey through your channels is everything I want to be and do in life. You probably won’t see this, but it’s an HONOR to watch your channels and to listen to everything you put out into this world. You are an angel with empathy and your compassion/passion, and I’m so grateful to be a fan/follower. You are making this world a better place and I’m so proud of you and everyone in this world who is like you.

Bob Hope in Palm Springs California on one Christmas Eve. It’s a fantastic story where I walked into a jewelry store and we ended up having tea just he and I but here the giggle I was 11 and my parents were walking ahead of me on the street and I looked in the shop and said “ I see Bob hopes nose” and they said “of course you did “. They kept walking and I turned around and marched myself into the shop, introduced myself and he asked me where my family was . I told him they kept walking he said well let’s close this shop down and we will have tea until they come back and find you. Turned out he would go out on Christmas Eve every year to have a gift made for his wife. That usually assured no one would notice as so much else was going on until a little girl catches him !!! So we sat and had tea off a silver service set and when my parents finally came Lookong Mr. Hope stood up, walked up to them and said oh I’d like you to meet my dear friend Paula Marie … 💜💜💜

Wow. When he spoke of having Richie’s heart! So, so powerful. I’ve often thought of transplant recipients and how they must think of the person who died and is now essentially living on, in part, inside of them. As a mother myself, I can understand why it took ten years for the parents to reach out to him.

This gentleman perspective on life in general is so spot on… it is so many little things that are really most important… watching kites… his take on the internet is exactly the same as I felt… when it came along… I thought it would make the world a better and smaller place where people would exchange ideas and learn from each other… but instead people screwed it up and bully each other and spread conspiracy theories and do little to make the world or anything better. I don’t do any social media except for UKposts… I do agree with his take on food… Anthony Bourdain… said… if you want to get to know a people… share a meal with them… you learn about their culture, food and themselves. Glad that he survived and his life was put into perspective… so rewarding to hear. I can’t imagine what it must have been like to meet the family of his heart donor… the emotional feelings must have been incredible. I hope he remains well and as in touch with his sensibilities as he was in this podcast… Thank You for this…🕊️ 🌜🌞🌛

Hi from Greece.I like the honesty and pure love that you approach people, making them express real feelings. If you ever come to Greece, I would suggest you visit small villages, especially in Crete and talk to people who lived and survived after World War II, since their stories certainly have a lot to say, not so much about the war, but for the meaning of life.

Another incredible interview! Thank you both for sharing! As a young adult, I can relate to the problem of striving for money and "success." Stories like his really do help put things in perspective. One stranger I still remember... I was trying to do an ollie on my skateboard last year. I was a slow learner and getting frustrated. One day, a stranger riding a bike yelled "keep trying!" as he passed by me. That was so small, but it made a huge impact. I repeated his words the rest of that day. They still come to me now as I practice more tricks. Thank you to my stranger and to all the other kind strangers out there. You do make a difference.

Sometimes we don't see the greater things in life. I think it has to do with what you have gone through in life and what generation you are from. Like this generation is more into technology and taking 🤳 and colorful fashion. I grew up when baggy jeans were in style peepers were the thing so I can relate to those days. Know my 19 year old is into skinny jeans and i phones 📱 so i think that your generation and the time zone you grow up in has a lot of what you going to care about in life. Also your age and what you have experienced in life itself. Like if I talk to my son about my teenage years he'll hear me out. But probably wouldn't understand or see things the same way because he didn't live in that area. He is living in his area so I think sometimes people have difficulty understanding each other when they are from a different age range. Like for example as a kid i use to play outside with other kids from the block. Ride bike with my friends play spin the bottle. Know it's stay at home on your cell phone or playing video games it's a whole different ball game. But at the same time you got to respect it because it's there generation and there memories. I think thats what is most important your life time memories because when you die it's all you taking. To me family is what's more important and the time I can spend with them you never know when it is over until it's over. Even talking to a stranger sometimes could bring you some clearness or healing communication sometimes we just need someone to talk to.

At 6 months old my lungs crashed and I almost died and that was the second time at birth I almost died . Then I got raped at 8 by my brother so I blocked it out from myself so life moved on. That led to a lot of life long internal pain and bad habits and damage and 3 more rapes 2 I was drugged for. Then at 16 I got pregnant and then at 18 again and both times the males ran . So there was no time to do any self reflection or work .I just lost 57 pounds and am physically changing alot and see males looking my way and I just move on but a huge part of me fears being a 5 time rape victim. I already have no justice or closure to the last 4 so I live with a zapper with spikes in my purse because I will not go to prison unless its for a blacked out self defense . I will spend time if I need for that. I would kill to see his heart I think its so grate that he did that. I have a metal cage heart I wear that has a 22 bullet its not a heart but it was from the first animal I ever had the chance to help clean and cook and eat some of when it was fresh the way it was ment to be . I have a ton of those kinds of things in my life. Yet I still feel like my life is a train wreck . I have no self confidence and can not understand things like relaxing or happiness. I do not fear death at all. I feel quite friendly with death and am very much so waiting for its return . I will never forget the hugs the two different strangers that have hugged me at diffrent times . I almost died falling off a roof and woke up to a board with a nail sticking up that was the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes . I did not go to the hospital. I heald my ribs over time but still have a floating one and pain . The world is a brutal.

I thought he was going to take his glasses off at least at the end …i dont appreciate people wearing glasses that prevents us to see their eyes through a interview , to me it is less genuine if we cant see the eyes or facial expressions

There is a way to have eternal LIFE! Repent of your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He will wash you clean, give you a new heart and the gift of eternal LIFE in heaven with Him. Sin is what brings death upon one. The wages of sin is death. But you can have LIFE through Jesus. He paid your wages when He died on the cross because He loves you and desires for you to live with Him for eternity in heaven. Call out to Jesus and ask Him. Ask Him to show you the Way to everlasting LIFE. He is that something that fills our soul. He is what each of us is searching for. He is LOVE.
