The poignancy, the raw emotion of this song really got me. There's something about it. All of what truly matters in life is subliminally represented in the simple, relevant lyrics accompanied with the melody and rawness of Gaga's voice. I can hear all of her character's anguish, loneliness and sadness. The way it was written like a dialogue between the two character's added even a deeper meaning to the song and storyline. Nothing can beat the first time I saw this scene in the theatre. I was almost in tears. So viscerally moved by the virginal aspect of seeing it for the first time. Although I will never experience that moment the same exact way again, this song will always have special meaning. I'm so glad that meaningful music can still be made in this current time.

I had the same reaction in the theater, the moment when she covered her eyes while singing, it was like my breath caught and the weird, happy tears kind of spilled over. It was just so damn moving, like she couldn't believe what has happening and how beautiful it was. I did not expect to get emotional during this movie, but it was like every moment was overwhelming in some way and it just shocked the hell out of me.

Just came from this movie. I was left speachless. No words for the immense talent these have given. The connection they have is undescribable.This is the ultimate power of love we all dream to have, but yet it was taken away by drugs and alcohol. So many fight this battle and never win. What is it worth? How bad do we want love? How bad do we want to let it go because our love of something else? 😢

laz chapman the second and third acts had no chance of living up to the first hour. All the pop star stuff drug way too long. There should’ve been more “after” content, featuring Ally coming back to earth and not doing pop. But I still enjoyed it.

I read in my paper that he learned how to sing and play guitar and piano because SHE asked that there be no lip synching. And the minimal makeup look for her was his idea. She went along, and both ideas were wonderful. I like his voice a lot, and love her look. She is really pretty.

OneJoshFan that’s exactly what they did. I’ve seen comments saying that it’s Lukas Nelson playing guitar & covering for Bradley, that’s not true. However, it is Lukas Nelson’s band and him playing WITH Bradley. Every song that’s sung every instrument played was REAL- that’s exactly what Bradley & Stefanie set out to do & they did it and then some ❤️

The greatest movie experience I’ve had sInce “Titanic 3D” and “Avatar” and that’s over ten years ago. The most emotion movie since “Schindlers List”. Just saw this movie last night, and it hit me in a way that a movie hasn't in a really long time. Beautiful, poignant, tragic, and oh so worth a watch. What an amazing thing to experience in theatres, especially with Cooper's and Lady Gaga's undeniably amazing performances. Oscar-worthy all the way around.

This is a perfect example of the true genius talent of Gaga as a singer, song writer / actor and Cooper as a director /actor, singer! He sings very well but when she enters it is a whole other story and he relays the point with perfection.

Grammys and oscars are definitely headed their way for this film. If Bradley and Stephanie don’t win for this one then there is definitely something wrong with the people who votes for the winners. Seriously. A sweet masterpiece right here. They nailed this one. I just can’t believe that Bradley took this long to surprise us with his great singing voice. I have not been the same since I saw this movie. Glad I listened to the songs first. I feel so Bad for Bradley Coopers character. He suffered so much emotional pain and rose her to be noticed and in the end he needed her to know why he was suffering. I cried so hard and have not recovered. Talent with both of these too

8 months ago , My BB dedicated this impressive song to me ❤️ .. Lately I keep listening to it cuz it's one of his favs .. we've completed One year & 3 months with each other .. we're struggling because the pandemic separated us ,, it's painful cuz our relation now is completely distant.. Also, he's suffering because of his job .. we can not be together until he get a stable job & stable income.. My tiniest wish is just to get back to KSA & see each other again .. I adore him

My thoughts too. I loved the songs at the first of the movie (before she became famous and that manager got ahold of her.). Those songs were full of heart soul and deep emotion. Something worth listening to, unlike those other that are just a repeat of a very bad lyric.

her album joanne is just like the songs in this movie, you've just been sleeping on her until now. also songs from her previous albums have the same poetry and emotion as the ones on the movie such as "speechless" and "dope"

Bradley is awesome in this film & showcased his hidden talents to the world with a brilliant performance. Much love, man. Lady Gaga is incredible! She's has depth and is a true artist who can do it all effortlessly. They both have great range and superb phrasing of the lyrics. I want them both to win Oscars for A star is Born!!!!!!!!
