I’m late to the party, but I’m bawling my eyes out right now. I may not have been on the entire dream smp journey, but watching the videos have forever changed my life. This was a great era, and I’m happy that I was able to live during this period of time. This is when the quote “don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened” hits the hardest. Tributes to techno as well, techno never dies.

Not gonna lie, this hits hard seeing how everything went. Technos part made us all cry, but I think we all know he is looking over us. He would be so proud of you, and so are we.

"The server almost felt like a museum" is such an intelligent way to describe why the server started to loose its momentum. Later on, the server felt far more like a "greatest hits" collection, where characters would do more of the same. The egg banquet really showed this off for me. It was, in large part, a bunch of established characters getting together, and then some other big characters coming in and having a fight. It was a museum of characters doing not very much. This isn't me hating on the server, I love the dream smp, and the story it told. I'm just sad that it didn't last any longer, but glad we got what we did

I started watching TommyInnit during Covid. I remember when he first played on the Dream Smp and killed George to the final days of Dream in the prison. I was never rich enough to donate or sub or anything but I’m glad the content was there for everyone to view. It made life a little easier in the hard times of lockdown. It felt like I was a part of something huge even though no one ever knew me. I held off on watching this Tribute for long enough cause it feels like I’m letting that all go. Thank you TommyInnit and thank you to everyone on the Dream Smp for making that part of my life bearable. -DinoDudu

It's just so sad watching everything just fly away. People have grown. The SMP has been an amazing time. It was fun to watch you and other amazing youtubers play on that server. Express themselves on it. Be themselves. Listening to the jokes you guys tell. It was an amazing time. It was amazing to watch the server grow.

I used to hate the Dream SMP. At least I thought I did. My friends had all told me how it was all scripted and cringy, and I believed them. But what I did really love was Technoblade. Eventually (this is long after "so long nerds" and probably soon before the SMP ended anyway) I started watching his old Dream SMP streams, and I loved them. I started watching Tommy's streams too, after finding him through Techno's videos. To this day, I wish that I had watched those streams while the SMP still existed. Watching those videos myself made me realise how much effort and time my favourite UKpostsrs were pouring into Dream SMP. I realised that I didn't care that it was scripted, or that it was "cringy". I loved it. RIP Techno. I think that watching your videos probably changed my life. Blood for the Blood God. Technoblade Never Dies. Anyway, sorry if this got overly emotional/dramatic. To put it in Tommy's words, "I'm a nostalgic gamer."

This hits different knowing that there will be no season 2. I really miss that excitement and spark from the height of the smp, and I don’t really have any new interests to fill in that gap. All the creators are moving their separate ways, and I sometimes get so nostalgic for having the comfort of those smp streams to look forward to. That being said I’m so glad that it happened, and I look forward to seeing what other project the dsmp members get up to, especially with the announcement of the qsmp!

the way Tommy talked about Techno, how "it didn't feel real", that's exactly how I felt until he actually left. I did NOT FEEL REAL because Techno was fighting so strong and giving us the best of him from the very beginning to the very end. From the "where I've been" vid, I was like: wtf he got CANCER?????? and then I heard him stream and talk about almost becoming an amputee and all the hilariousness and I was like: huh, he's getting better now! I simply did not realize how sever it already was when he had to learn to walk and how he cannot move his shoulder. He never told anyone it was stage 4. I literally balled my eyes out on Jul 1st and this time as well. RIP Technoblade. You are and will always be remembered.

Thank you so much Tommy for making me survive thru the whole pandemic, The whole year 2020-2021 was the worst year for me because of many things losing my friends, failing academically, and failing to take care of myself but one thing helped thru out all the tough times was the DreamSMP and your streams even though I live in Asia I remember the first app I would open every day was twitch just to see if you were streaming or not. Tommy was like the Jschlatt for me someone who I had admired and The SMP let me find out my hobby for writing stories now I have gone thru many things aswell gaining some new friends, trying my best again at school, and always making time to take care of myself so Thank you for all of the members of Dream SMP who have worked hard thru the years and know you all will always have a special place in my heart :)

I revisited this video and it makes me afraid so afraid that some things that we have are temporary friendships, feelings, memories, experiences, tragedies, jokes, accidents and fun times. I honestly want to believe there always be better times but seeing what i have and what i might lose from my life is terrifying. I want to just live in happy moments and never leave. I want to experience again the joys that i have or had in my life again and again, I'm so afraid to lose them. I have watched this video so many times and I always end up crying. This is an amazing video king and techno and the Dsmp will forever live on in our memories. I can’t wait for season 2 and it’s crazy to think about when I started watching vs where I am now and how much you and just everyone has grown. (Sorry for the rant if anyone read this)

Hearing Tommy talk about Techno like that.... it made me cry for the first time in weeks over Techno's passing. Technoblade was the guy I'd watch when I needed to cheer up from my home life. He was the way I was able to connect with other people. He never missed. Never. Rest in power

The way for Tommy is that he asked himself ‘If I was born earlier,’ ‘less cringy,’ ‘worked harder’ is just how I’m questioning myself and my school life problems. “we’re all getting older now” absolutely broke me. in january of 2021, a boy in red and with a super loud passionate voice popped up on my watch list. i thought, “oh fuck it, lets see who this guy is.” i watched your videos all day, tommy. then the next day. then the next. then the next. that whole week, every day when i’d get home from school, i’d watch you. i caught up on the lore through EvanMCCGaming, SAD-ist, and old lore streams- and watched all of the rest from there. that day in january genuinely changed my life forever. i was introduced to the best community i’d ever been in. i was introduced to new types of people, voices i had never heard, learning about different parts of my world when ours was closed. i have genuinely learned so much from the dream smp. before the dream smp, i was incredibly antisocial, insecure, and isolated. even though i still am now, it’s gotten better because of the dsmp, making all the difference in my life. you guys wernt just entertainment. you guys are idols. people aspire to be like you one day. you went from having heroes, to *becoming* them. you are *our* heroes. you guys have taught me that it’s okay to be myself and express myself and interests in any way i please. you guys have taught me to stick up for my opinions and for what i think is right, and that those opinions are valid. you guys have taught me that *I* am valid for who *I* am. not for what others want me to be. you guys have taught me how to have fun, embrace the experience while it’s there. and wether you realize it or not, yes- *you guys* did that. for me, and for *m i l l i o n s* of others. *millions.* just embrace that for a minute. these little things are life lessons i will carry out with me forever, they have already helped me in so many ways i couldn’t have ever imagined. and they will help me with so many more. but most importantly, i’ll *never* forget who gave me the confidence to make those decisions, the people who inspired those motivators, the person who introduced me to the people who have changed my life forever, him himself being one. tommyinnit. wether i ever loose interest in the dsmp or not, it will always hold a special place in mine, and all of our hearts. thank you all so much for being you, and inspiring millions of others yo come out of their shells, and to live their best lives by just being who they are. we will always love you guys. always keep fighting. so long big man❤️

Tommy, I’ve been watching you for about 2 years now and to see how far you’ve come is amazing. I actually remember staying up to about 4 AM on school days watching you just be the person you are. Tommy, you’re my idol and I try to be like you in almost every way. If you’re reading this, thank you. ❤

I can't believe I missed this up until now. I probably wouldn't have seen it at all if I hadn't gotten a clip of Dream talking about how Season 2 probably won't happen in my recommended, so I appreciate the person who posted that. I think you pretty accurately describes why I fell out of the DreamSMP when I did. It wasn't anyone's fault - it wasn't because of the story or the people - I think I could just feel the stress of it all coming from the members. The thing that drew me in to the SMP in the first place was the chaotic passion everyone had- where you couldn't even begin to guess what was going to happen. Where nothing was "sacred", and it felt so real. Where one minute, the forces of L'manburg are raining fiery arrows on Dream, and the next, Eret is stabbing them in the back. Where everyone's celebrating a server-wide victory, and then it all comes crashing down in a blaze of TNT and Withers. Those were the days that I still remember to this day. It was about the time that L'manburg got destroyed for the final time that my interest started slowing down, but even after that, I still hopped into the lore streams when they happened. All the way up until the news about Techno. That was what really ended the journey for me. And I think it was the final straw for many other people too, including the members. Regardless of how it ended, I'm still incredibly grateful for all the memories I have of watching the streams- all the art that came from it, the animatics, the songs, the stories, the people I discovered through it, all of it. I'll always remember when I felt like I was part of the Revolution, or was one of Techno's many voices. And I will always remember them fondly.

He wasn't live near him and couldn't just immediately go seeing him, so he's trying to find any kind of his presence left to at least say his goodbye, knowing that he can never see Techno again.
