I noticed the old covenants seemed to reflect in some ways the threefold office of Christ, Davidic covenants reflecting the kingly office, the covenants with Israel reflecting the prophetic office. Could the Abrahimic covenant reflect the priestly office? I know Abram is blessed by Melchizidek in Genesis 14, but that's the only connection I can think of

There are 2 major theological stances since the trial of Martin Luther, aka trial at Worms, aka the Reformation. Hey Chris. Yes, that covenant is awesome hey!? But there is a "but" to this covenant: we have to stay loyal to Him and totally sold out to Christ for the whole of our lives on earth. You are on the right track my friend. You can’t truly understand the New Testament if you haven’t read the old. We don’t read any other book starting towards the end so why do it with the Bible? You miss out on so much important and wonderful information that way! I didn’t realize this until way further down the line in my walk cause most churches recommend otherwise for some reason. I started reading the Old Testament and with the help of the Holy Spirit and reading what it actually says for myself so many questions I had were answered. Is not good to wear them what matters truly is your faith and hope in Jesus Christ and with that faith it will help you follow him dont pay too much mind to superstition not saying alot of them are real or not but it can sidetrack you learning more about the grace of God.
