My grandparents watched this all the time too. My grandma is super gullible and one time me and my dad recorded an episode and wrote down all the answers, then played the recording when it was time for the show, and she was amazed at how we knew all the answers 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I think Aaron Rodgers is definitely the best one to fill this spot. I think Alex Trebek would be proud to have him in this position. He is smooth, calm and has the charisma that is needed for Jeopardy. After watching this interview it is also clear that he is humanitarian type of person like Alex was.. perfect fit!

I have been a fan of Aaron Rogers since l saw him on Jeopardy. I love the fact that he is a Jeopardy fan and he looks like he has a calming presence. He is right up there with Ken Jennings and Mike Richards. I hope Aaron does well as a guest host, l am routing for him. I also hope he is considered as a permanent host of Jeopardy.

He did a weekly segment on the Pat McAfee show this past season, did a lot for his PR imo. Media definitely painted him as a spectacular athlete, but not a fantastic teammate/person, but those segments absolutely changed that.

I still would prefer Ken to be the permanent host, but I heard the producers and crew were very surprised and impressed by Aaron's hosting ability. He obviously respects the game and he has more star power than any of the other guest hosts. My first choice would be Ken as well, not sure if he would want it or if the higher ups would chose him. I just hope they don't base it on sex and choose a woman, just for the sake of window dressing and how it looks on paper. I truly hate the sexist approach to decision making. Select based on talent, to those who it is up to and not just to make a change, for the sake of doing so and engender yourselves to special interests or groups.

Yes you personally like Katie Couric that is correct and there has been a narrative against Dr Oz because his politics don't line up with the mob. You see how that works? Ratings overall are the factor and under Katie Couric the show ratings took a dive so I guess the Jeopardy audience would disagree with you and nobody gave a damn that Doctor Oz is not hack for the mob. It's amazing how that works isn't it? Maybe the ratings dive under Katie had to do with her ignorant comment that over 75 million people in this country had to be deprogrammed or maybe it was because she sucked. Not everybody looks at life through a political, racial or sexual orientation blue lens. The best person qualified should get the job and Dr. Oz was the only person who got bad press and boycotted because how dare he not march in line with the leftist mob! What if the "contract situation" is a way for him to leave football and host Jeopardy. I know its crazy and I want him in GB for many more years (go pack go) but at some point he is going to go after what brings him the most joy, which should be higher on everyone's priority list. when Aaron brought up the childhood stuff. brought back so many memories of my childhood watching these game shows at my grand parents house. sadly i never watched a single episode of jeopardy until Rodgers hosted a few weeks ago. but yeah all those announcers and hosts never thought how much they impacted my life until that very question and response.

I'm not a football fan, so outside of his Jeopardy! competition, I'm not familiar with Aaron. He seems genuine, pleasant, deferential towards Alex & a lifetime fan of the show. We all want Jeopardy to work something out with Aaron. He is definitely the best by far. Unless you have a Trebek Clone you're going to pull out at the end, then Aaron Rodgers has my vote. You can tell he truly enjoys it. He also brings The most outside interest, which can only enhance the show.

I was watching Jeopardy on Tuesday while cooking and was like, "FINALLY, THIS GUY'S VOICE HAS THAT IT FACTOR!" ... I walked over to my TV and was ASTONISHED to see AARON "That Baaaad Man" Rodgers!!! He NEEDS to be the HOST FULL-TIME! Cause let's be honest, he'll get more love and respect from Jeopardy World than the GreenBay Front Office/Team has shown!

Aaron Rocks! Best Jeopardy Guest Host yet! His second week he found his rhythm and let his humor show. He's got what it takes to be the next permanent host. I may be a little biased as I am a "Cheesehead" but there's no arguing Aaron's good at it and will only get better. Alex was very philanthropic and I believe Aaron would follow in Alex's footsteps.

My sister inlaw is in Chico, Calif. Aaron Rodgers is from Paradise, Calif. His donations helped with the businesses destroyed by the Campfire Fire. I have a lot of respect for Aaron Rodgers. Besides, he's a Cal Berkeley (Go Bears), fan.
