I’m not supposed to say this as a Detroit homer, but we don’t play the Jets and in most my 36 years, my Lions haven’t given me as much on-and-off the field reason to be a fan of them the way Rodgers has.

Regarding the 35 million pay cut. I would imagine the opportunity for endorsements and advertising is a lot greater in New York City than in Green Bay or Milwaukee.

I'll admit that Payton sort of broke the coaching code of ethics BUT - two things, a) Rodgers is sticking up for Hackett because Nate was the OC in Green Bay AND they are friends.
