FACT CHECK: The problem with this show is that anyone who actually follows their respective team closely knows that Skip and Shannon (or their staff for that matter) don't actually do their homework. 1. Davante didn't have a concussion even though we all suspected that is what happened. What actually happened was that he got the wind knocked out of him so bad that he couldn't breathe. 2. @5:34 Skip suggests that Aaron somehow touted his playing calling abilities on that final drive, at the expense of others. Actually, if you were doing your homework, you would have known that Matt Lafleur brought it up to the press when had gotten to the podium. Aaron simply confirmed the chain of events in his press conference. Skip's characterization would baffle anyone who actually watched the pressers. 3. In yesterday's press conference, Aaron Rodgers goes on to convey gratitude towards teammates multiple times. That isn't out of the ordinary; he has become quite sentimental in his 30's. How Skip has interpreted and psychoanalyzed Aaron's statements as being "selfish" and "diva" is baffling to anyone who actually watches the team closely. I don't believe anymore that this is all an act on Skip's behalf. I think Skip simply acts in bad faith for whatever reason. And what is sad is that Shannon has begun questioning Aaron's motives. The amazing part is that this slanderous characterization of Aaron has reverberated across the league. And Skip can be traced to be directly responsible for this characterization. This shows the power of Skip. Skip likes to often bring up that bleacher report article that had not one ounce of credibility to it that others often cite. I honestly don't know any more about how I am supposed to take this show. Apart of me wants to call them the best duo on television, and they should get credit as being the most fun duo to listen to (by a mile). But I wonder if everything that is said is just steeped in absolute bull****. I don't understand why they need to be like this? What makes them entertaining has nothing to do with credibility. I feel like they both have the capacity to be entertaining and credible. I challenge them and the staff to be better. If the shows needs a bigger or better staff who feed Shannon and Skip information; please make those changes.
