My mom died when I was 43 and even though I was intricately involved in her funeral arrangements, for an entire year I thought she would return. I struggled to accept the fact that she was gone. I can't imagine the loneliness and emptiness Harry felt at 12 years old. Grief effects everyone differently, and crying should never be the litmus test to prove your depth of sorrow caused by the loss of a loved one.

How many additional times are they going to smear his family to line their bank account? You are doing the exact opposite of what you said you wanted for your family when you left England. And you endangered your family and countrymen when you bragged about how many you killed in the war. Just stop, it's beyond gross at this point.

Something tells me that Harry is very kind in describing his family relationships. His father was cruel to Princess Di, and I suspect he transferred that malicious behavior toward Harry. Over the years, Harry sort of accepted it but now with his own family, he needs to do the healing to be a good father and partner. In turn, this process is making him a better man, but it comes at the cost of calling out those that hurt, and did not support him during his childhood and teenage years.

He had a second wife who wouldn’t allow us access to see him and she kept all of his things so we never had a chance to process his death . I can think back to being with her seeing her at final rest was the start of accepting it and having some kind of closure. It's so complex and people are so unkind in the way that they demand people to not acknowledge or feel their feelings.

My children lost their father at 5,7,9. They also never cried. I took them to therapy and they refused to discuss. Kids just deal with the survival of the situation at that age. Therapy happens later. The therapist bias matters and so does the view of a vengeful narcissistic wife. My kids also didn’t want me to remarry or bring another partner into my life. I'm a trauma survivor and am estranged by choice from my family, so much respect to him for speaking out about that. I could care less about the royal family (even more so as a British born person) but I think he's pretty awesome for what he's doing. Tremendous respect to him for all of this. It takes courage. And I couldn't imagine the pressure being a member of the royal family and going through something like this.

So there's this weird juxtaposition of feelings - hatred and 'a huge amount of compassion' while he verbally destroys a relative. He sees nothing wrong with it and self justifies 'I am exactly what I'm supposed to be'.

I just want to point out not everyone cries when they are mourning, we all handle grief differently. I am the biggest cry baby you will ever meet but I don't cry when I mourn, I tend to accept death quite easy and I find peace in death so I don't tend to cry.

Harry had an annual allowance from the Duchy of $6.9 million, which he shared with Meghan. Wasn't that enough for both of them while they lived rent-free, had paid security and all the other perks that come with being a senior working royal? Did she also want an allowance?

I was 12 when my beloved Father passed away and I did see his body in the casket, but even still, I did not believe he was gone, I believed he was alive and he was coming home and I would see him in different places walking around. I guess that was my survival mechanism. I really like Prince Harry because he wears his heart on his sleeve, is candid and honest. Good for him for sticking up for his wife and being loyal to her. He gives his wife the honor and loyalty that his mother always wanted from his father. He is a better man than his father will ever be. Diana would be proud of him.

His words about grieving his mom actually comforts me in a strange way. My sons dad died suddenly and unexpectedly at 32…just 3weeks shy of my sons 8th birthday. I had him in grief counseling and therapy, and I’ve only see him cry 1 time. He’s almost 15 now. And it made me scared for him that he might be bottling it all in, especially given the circumstances surrounding his dads death. I guess everyone grieves differently, but it’s comforting to get others point of view on this matter.

Harry pls listen- all siblings are competitive, I got the smaller room im second born, we had punch ups, she told me I don't know u at school. It's very very common!!!! Spare is the best role, all the perks and non of the pressure. Pretty sure william may struggle at times knowing his life cannot be changed.

How can any child that was raised in those luxury settings with all the comforts and security that was given to Harry, complain about how rough life was. Meghan wanted riches and she got it, have her stop telling the world on how she cares for the blacks and the poor while spending millions on publishing articles on how rough she has been treated. The Press has to stop the coverage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, we are sick of their sob stories while millions are starving and unemployed.

Recently started watching the series ‘The Royals’ and listening to this interview literally feels like an episode of the shows😂😮

He says in the book he was at Eaton in his room and received a call from "someone " telling him the Queen mother had died.He wasn"t, he was skiing in Switzerland with his father and brother on the date he describes,with a photo to prove it. He says he didn"t call his family racists,did he and Megan use the exact word,no but they implied they were and did nothing to deny it when the family was called racists based on what they had said in the Oprah interview. He says he supports lady Hussey but their press release said the apology was just a PR stunt. He lies about everything.

My take after finishing the book Through this book I see that Harry has never been able to get over his mothers death and it’s understandable people deal with grief differently. I feel this book has helped him to get a lot off his chest and I hope he can make peace with himself. I like the fact he’s honest about weed,drugs,anxiety etc. But if he continues to go further than this book he is just going to look like the Prince of WAILS. I think Harry paints his dad in a much nicer light than he did in the hideous interview with Oprah which is nice and it seems like he does miss his brother. However I do feel that because of this book it may be a long time before his brother will trust him again whether it is Harry’s truth or not. I felt the part of the book where Harry drove through the tunnel at the speed his Mum went through really touched me. I can’t imagine the emotions he felt and the realisation he said going from she’s hiding to she’s dead. To say Harry couldn’t get his wife a therapist it sure sounds like a therapist has written a lot of this book and that he has spent most of his life with a therapist so why did he act like he didn’t have any therapists details for his wife when he had one on speed dial? I feel Harry contradicts himself so much in this book compared to what he has said when sitting down with Oprah. Harry says that is family didn’t have control over newspapers when they printed the story about him being on deaths door when he was a kid. But later when it comes to Meghan he acts as if his family could have done something. Harry mentions private details that the public doesn’t need to know such as his brother being circumcised but when anyone wants to talk about Harry and Meghan they are racist but personal details about other peoples lives is “their truth. Harry acts as if siblings don’t fight and don’t want to be associated with their younger siblings is because William is the Heir no it’s because you are the annoying younger sibling which happens in most families. The burial claims of the miscarried baby are questionable in the laws of america… The scary thing about Harry’s truth is he talks a lot about his mind blanking out certain parts of his life so how do we know what happened he says “memory winks out completely” then I was at the airport. Harry says he never callled the family racist WOW he sure led the public to believe that alongside his wife on Oprah. Harry says Willy found a place and invited me to stay with him or maybe I invited myself? What are statements like this suppose to mean Harry ? Harry spoke to a war survivor of nazi’s who told him stories but he won’t repeat them because they aren’t his stories to tell. But his dad having a teddy bear with him to help him over his childhood traumas is Harry’s story to tell? Harry and Meghans love story sounded beautiful this was probably my fav part of the book and maybe should have been more of the focus rather than his bitterness towards his family. I don’t believe that Meghan had never googled his family just because she didn’t recognise Prince Andrew at the side of the Queen…I just don’t buy that narrative Harry says that once when he spoke rudely to meghan and she said she wouldn’t stand for it. That he knew he had to deal with his anger within and that William had told him to go to therapy before..so why did he act like none of his family tried to help him. Harry said that his father adored meghan so why wasn’t he doing more in the press. If Charles adored meghan then it leads more to her actions rather than her colour that destroyed the relationship with King Charles As soon as Charles said he wouldn’t be able to pay for meghan as well and William and Kate Harry automatically goes to the fact that his dad was jealous of someone stealing the limelight from the King hahaha…give me a break So when he said he wanted to use Diana’s diamonds from her bracelet and turn it into meghans wedding ring William didn’t hesitate it giving it. So how then did Harry so quickly turn them into racists ? Harry said his father was delighted to learn he was going to be a grandfather again and William gushed and said you have to tell Kate.. pretty much sounded like William was excited. I do believe that the Queen was heavily influenced by the firm in her later years and I believe there is some truth to what Harry is saying there. I hope as a family they can work things out and remove this Kardashian drama from the screens

Prince Harry and the royal family have never had a day of private struggles in their entire lives, nor the history of all Windsor’s. I’m glad he wrote the book. Hopefully it was an opportunity to purge all the hurt feelings that were very real to him. I hope his family finally heard him. For anyone who’s ever had to cut ties with family, this desperate act says it all.

When he says "I tried to resolve this in private with my family" what he means is that he and his wife made demands that were declined. So the grifters had to start defaming the RF publicly in order to get their way or at least to take the RF, Britain and the free press down a nodge. Sick!

I think his move to US was a big step. But, if he was raised with the same values as myself, he would find himself amused on how much there is to explore to further develop a character.
