As I see it, the SCOTUS now needs to define what is and is not an official act. I cannot imagine they will rule that treason is an official act. The very reason for that clause in the 14th amendment was to keep Jefferson Davis or Robert E Lee or any other insurrectionist from holding any state or federal political office. As far as I'm concerned, the clause didn't go far enough. It should have been more clear, leaving no room for the current specious argument being made. And it also should have stated that the person who committed treason could not hold any or state job, including pseudo-government entities like the Federal Reserve or Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. It should probably also include prohibiting holding employment with or acting as a contractor for any government or psuedo-government agency. They really should have no ability to connect with anything remotely related to federal or state government.

@@angelapleasants8285 If you see the whole video, the officer takes his knee off the guy while he's still awake and looked to be fine, at least visibly. They were questioning witnesses and putting a report together (with nobody even touching him, I believe) when one officer checked on him and found him unresponsive. I'm not saying that police actions had nothing to do with his death, but he went from conscious and talking to unresponsive well after they had gotten off of him and had him subdued.

It is reckless and irresponsible to show the Luftansa jet's aborted landing without explaining why this happened. Luftansa pilots are some of the most respected and experienced pilots in the business. If they could not nail the landing, you OWE it to the flying public to include an explanation. If you are buying sloppy groceries like meat or chicken, you can use the produce bags at the store, then make sure to reuse that produce bag for household garbage later. Wipe your reusable grocery totes out with a sponge after putting your groceries away. It's easy. You'll get used to it very quickly. Or we can continue to destroy our planet with plastic trash. 🌎🐬🌍

Diaper bag shouldn’t be allowed to be on the ballot because of his leading role in the insurrection of the capital building and the constitution says that he is not eligible to hold office but the Supreme Court has overruled the constitution and has ruled that diaper rash can be on the ballot. Now they are going to give him immunity from prosecution for his crimes against what the Constitution says. Doesn’t the lawmakers have the authority to change the constitution along with the states and the senate and the house of congress to make this a constitutional law and not the courts.

As long as people are protesting peacefully law enforcement needs to leave them alone. If they witness somebody committing violence or making threats then yes arrest them. But don't throw peaceful protesters into the same pot. People need to remember what happened in 1970 at Kent State.
