Fun fact: this game got an update to make it more “friendly” so in the parent’s room instead of blood being there there’s just huge claw marks and instead of a gun in the safe you get a slingshot that Ruby (the little girl) used to shoot at Mr. Hopp’s until her parents took it away (that’s why it was in the safe)but then you get it and shoot at him anyways.

The eyes was what scared me cause we kept it in the basement and when I would go down there it would open its eyes and start singing before I even got to turn on the light. Scared me so many times as a child lol

The demon was already implanted in the doll when she created because she supposedly « saw inside the fires of hell » so she probably made him for a demon to possess.

The wallpaper scare is so good, because the game teaches you that being behind a wall is safe-- until suddenly Mr. Hopp busts through the wallpaper and takes a swipe at you, destroying your illusion of safety, even if it's only for a moment. It's genius.

I had my own version of Mr. Hopp growing up for maybe 2 months. It was a white wooden bunny with blue glass eyes and floral design on its sides. I hated it. My mom loved it. My mom puts nick nacks all throughout the house, and that rabbit was a few feet outside of my room. I would always run past that thing just to stay away from it. Especially at night. It always feels like i was being watched. I eventually convinced my parents to get rid of it. One of the best days of my life.
