I can’t stop listening to this song. Besides being a great tribute to Malcolm, I also think it’s a thank you to fans who have been listening to this group for over 40 years.

This whole song is absolutely about Mal, it's about Angus dreaming of the loss of his brother, and how he can't sleep, and how he is haunted about how it all ended for Mal. The pictures falling? It's his loss of family, especially his 2 older brothers who held so much influence through his life. The lyrics "A mansion high" means no matter how much you make or do, you are still subject to shit. The painted ladies part....I guarantee that is an inside joke of AC/DCs, probably started by Mal about the groupies or the hanger on females back in the day, which is why it gives Brian chills, he gets it! Remember Angus thought of his brother as the greatest (and was) rhythm guitarist in history, which is why the monster part, Mal was a Monster of rock and now he is gone, hence the: Hear the whisper Of the whirlwind Monster shadows A light gone dim That is Angus saying he hears his brother in his mind all the time, he misses him, but he is still with him, no matter what, his brother is there "monster shadows, a light gone dim" His brother was a force, a monster of rock, Mal dying is a light gone dim. This song is completely about Malcolm Young, no matter how you look at it. And it is a bit more mainstream than AC/DC usually does things, but then, they did the same thing on the Black album for Bon.....

When they said that there's a first time for everything, I didn't imagine that crying to AC/DC would be on the list, but I've been proven wrong.

This is absolutely the surprise hit for me. I have to say, despite it being completely different to anything from AC/DC to this point, it's the best song on the album. Fucking brilliant. If I had to describe it in one word it would be "Culmination" since I can feel their entire history in the song. This should have been the title track.

I'm a lifelong AC/DC fan, grew up with them. I own every album they ever released. I know every song. Be there no mistake, this song is definitely a tribute to Malcolm, Bon and the trials and tribulations the band has gone though over the last 40 plus years. That being said, I think this song is more than that. I think it is a song for all of us. A song to remind us that life is a collection of experiences both good and bad, and that no matter what, we soldier on through time. Angus, Malcolm and Brian have said many times in interviews they make music not to make money, but simply because they love the music itself and the process of making it, not just for us the fans, but for themselves as well. They are fans of the music just as we are. The music of AC/DC has carried us fans through the mists of time for over 40 years now. Close your eyes for a moment and remember where you were when you heard Dirty Deeds for the first time, remember who you were with when you heard You Shook Me All Night Long, or what you were doing when you heard Thunderstruck for the first time. AC/DC and their music have chronicled our lives. Moments in our lives caught in time with the release of another AC/DC album. I remember waiting in the long line to buy tickets to see them on their Blow Up Your Video tour in May of 1988, I remember waiting in line at the record store (remember those stores?) the day Fly on the Wall went on sale. I remember taking two Army buddies to see them on their Ballbreaker tour. It was their first time ever seeing them live and I will never forget the smiles on their faces as they stood there banging their heads in awe to the music, fists raised high in a rock salute. This past February, before the onset of the pandemic I took my then 14 year old son to his first concert, to see the AC/DC cover band 21 Gun Salute. They were incredible and played at a small local auditorium. By the end of the night all the fans were up at the stage, myself included. I will never forget the I have no idea who this man is, and no I didn't come with him look on my son's face as I banged my head, pumped my fist and belted out every word of every song played. I did not know anyone at the concert other than my son, and yet there were people of all ages there, from age 12 to senior citizens, and for that one brief moment in time we were all family, all brothers, sisters, cousins. United in the music. No one left that auditorium without a smile on their face, including my son. That's what AC/DC has done for over 40 years, unite people with their music. Their music transcends generations, time, countries and languages and let's us "feel" music like no other group in rock history. To our generation, those of us that have passed through the mists of time with AC/DC, music means a lot to us. It is in our blood and marks the passage of our time. Thank you AC/DC for giving us this song. This song is the greatest gift you could have ever given to us fans. For those that have rocked, for those that will rock and for those about to rock....we salute you AC/DC !!

My favourite from the album! It made me emotional... it has to be for Mal ♥ and I also thought of my dad who I lost a month ago. I'm sad that I can't tell him how much I'm loving this album, he was the one with whom I always talked about music... Anyway, this song is so beautiful ♥ I hope they play it on the next tour!

This one has a serious nostalgic almost ballad feeling...yet while staying true to the soul of rock. Mark my WORDS, between this, Code Red, Witches Spell, Shot In The Dark...this will be their best selling album since Back In Black. They sound AMAZING. Brian's voice sounds as good as when he was in his prime....how he did THAT I dunno, but watch, ACDC fans are about to come out in DROVES.

What Rudd plays at the beginning of this song is just the coolest ive ever heard him play. Never thought he would play something Bonhamiesc as this. This album is a diamond and piece of hope in these shitty times.

I am so emotional right now. I've been an AC/DC fan for more than half my life, Malcolm died on my birthday, I didn't think I'd hear new stuff from them ever again. This is beautiful. I'm eagerly awaiting my lightbox edition to come in the mail.

Gotta admit, going by the title i wasn't sure what this was gonna sound like. Cliffs bass kicks azz, Phil holding the beat, Stevie doing a great job, awesome. Angus, when he's 100, in a wheelchair, he'll still be killing it, and Brian, you sound great, whatever they did for your hearing, you sound fan fucking tastic.

Man, this is just beautiful. I hoped, that Acdc would make a song directly to Mal. Like a ballad or something, but...yeah. Hopefully, they will make a video for him, at least. I know the whole album was for him, but I mean a music video with him... He was a misterious and wonderful man, I guess. And while listening to this, my thoughts are with Angus, Malcolm's wive and his kids, who had such a big loss, which definitely was fertile. Malcolm Young is and always will be my idol. I'm sad, that I could never met him. Rock in peace, Mr. Young. We salute you.

After listening to the album a lot of times, I enjoy it a lot and think it is a very good vintage. They never disappoint.
