50 years ago my wife and I packed up a 1966 Mustang with all of our worldly possessions and traveled to Ft. Benning then to Ft. Polk where I was serving in the Army. On my you tube page you'll find the song I wrote about it. I started listening to Willie way back then . Love the way Lukas honors his Dad and yet has his own style. He mixes respect with self pride!

I can hear his father's voice but in Lukas' own original brand of music. I could listen to him all day long and never get tired of it.

I think Lukas is an incredible talent himself ! Everyone wants to compare him with Willie , but he is is own man . You never hear Lukas on the radio but that's okay . We who like him know where to find him !

First time I heard him, didn't know he existed, was on a farm aid concert on tv. Just happen to come across it. He started singing and I'm like dude quit trying to sound like Willie lol.
