We figured that simply because of the nature of the Hotel. There's no way this kind of place was going to exist and be the main titular focus and NOT see slow, eventual, drastic change for each participant in the form of character development. The Hotel will help heal Angel. To what extent, we'll find out. That said, he is ALSO a depraved freak. Remember, he's a demon and this is Hell, he got here by doing a lot of bad things, being extremely selfish, and killing a lot of people while alive. ... He's also sexy, and that's a crime.

I think this is the most important part of the whole scenario. Everyone wants revenge for Angel, and yes he deserves it, but Angel won't get better until he decides he wants to, and the fact that he checked into the "Happy Hotel" is so powerful. He wants to get better and he finally put his ego aside to seek help. I know a lot of people won't see the parallel to real life, but it tends to be that people who need help won't seek it until they absolutely have to or feel totally broken as Angel does.

@@TheHPExperiment even with autotune you still have to have good control and pitch to get the sound you want and being able to hit higher or lower notes that are out of the norm from regularly speaking while in a characters voice takes skill.

I think part of why eveyone is so messed up, is that there isn't a way out. Your stuck in hell, to be tormented and abused every single day, and you can't die. But one of the reasons he stays, is probably because one, it gives him a break from the constant mental bombardment, but also a chance to get out of hell and into heaven, but he just doesn't know that's what he wants yet. He will probably have a character arc concerning this at some point.
