I want to thank Adele for this song. This song somehow found its way into my life at the most perfect time. I was going after a woman who really wasn't the one. She had her own life that she was trying to live, a life that did not coincide with mine. I do not believe she cared for who I was, nor saw who exactly I was. Little did I know, after I stopped pursuing this woman, some other amazing person stepped into my life and has truly blessed me. She loves me unconditionally and I connect so much with her. I gave up instead of chasing pavements, and found myself on the horizon. To everyone, always remember to leave those toxic pursuits. There will always be something better beyond. You may not see it at the time, but you must trust that everything will be ok.

This is a song that sounds like it could’ve came out in the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s. Very timeless and fresh

the reason why i cant get over with this song is because of the meaning of chasing pavemeents my friend told me. Chasing pavements itself means trying to achieve something that already destined to failure, usually as a result of blind hope, or pointless hope. The phrase of “chasing pavements” refers to following the pavements aimlessly

"Should I give up or should I just keep chasing pavements?" Hits hard when you don't like your course in college but afraid of what could happen if you shift or drop.

When this came out I was homeless, on drugs, and then jail. I now have a house, job, and husband. This song and “Clover Cage - In the Moment” are the two songs that helped get rid of my depression. I just want to send love to everyone and I want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together..I love you ❤️🎉

It's 2023 and this song made me cry today so much. So many memories and flaskbacks of all my childhood and now saying goodbye to it by celebrating this month 19 years on this crazy planet

I lost my big sister to domestic violence some years back now. She was such a beautiful person and a wonderful mother. She was my music bestie, and I know how much Adele's music meant to her. Every time I listen to her music it's like Makaila is right there with me and I get all choked up. It's the most bittersweet feeling I've yet encountered in my 36 years.

So she's at a crossroads. She loves him but if she continues to love him, they'll both end up crashing like that couple caught in an accident. However, if she walks away, she'd find herself but lose her love in the process.

This was the 1st song I ever heard from Adele and it was so beautiful to me as a kid and I'm glad it still feels that way now.

I come back to this at least once a year. The first time I heard this song I felt in love with it. I listened to it over and over because I couldn't get enough of it. In my opinion the best song Adele release. Didn't realize she would blow up like she did. Love you Adele keep bringing the hits.

This is my favourite Adele song. Not her very popular ones like Hello, Easy on me, etc but this one. There is something so captivating to me about this simple song. This is my first time watching the music video. I always only heard this on Spotify. Even the music video was so wonderful. The choreography was really graceful. I always hesitated to look up the meaning of the song. If I knew the meaning, maybe I won't like it like I used to before. For now I just feel the music and it means what I want it to mean. But I have decided that I will not do that anymore. I am going to understand this from her perspective. No more putting it off. Thank you Adele.
