Sorry...but Adele deserved AOTY at Grammys. At first I thought Beyonce was robbed but then I thought about it....As monumentally GREAT and LEGENDARY Lemonade was...Beyonce didnt write it! It was written by a team of 70+ writers AND sampled other preople's music/poetry. Adele writes ALL her music with very few writing edits from others. Adele IS a bonafide vocalist and song writer, Beyonce is a performer. There's a major difference, and so, Adele deserved the win. Lemonade was amazing, culturally relevant, legendary, Bey's best work to date...but it was a collaborative effort with multiple song writers. Why should she be awarded AOTY for other people's work? I loved EVERY song on Lemonade, but didnt love every song on 25. Even still, Adele deserved the grammy because its HER work. She wrote it. It came from HER heart and HER emotions. Lemonade, however was a compilation of a bunch of people's work rolled into a Beyonce album. For that reason, and that reason alone, Adele earned the win....even if she herself doesnt believe it.
