After watching this makes me respect my mom more when my mom was 17 she became pregnant with my sister. My grandmother basically slut shamed my mom and wanted to kick her out of the house, but my grandfather stepped in and told grandma that she wasn't going to be kicked out. I don't think mom ever considered adoption or abortion when it came to my sister. My grandmother hated the fact that my mom was a 17 year old pregnant high school dropout. My mom one day asked grandma if she could babysit so mom could go out one night with friends. Grandma said no and told her that she has a kid, and that means no going out, no fun. So when my mom asked her cousin to babysit, she said yes. That every parent needs a day off of parenting once and a while. So mom went out with friends, and when Grandma found out, she called CPS and had my sister removed and put in foster care until my mom passed a parenting class. My sister was in FC for a few weeks or a few months, but I'm not sure how long. Up until my grandmother's passing, my mom never forgave her for that. Their relationship was always Rocky. Even up until my mother's passing, she still held that grudge against grandma.

I'm not surprised she had a grudge. But why the grandma got CPS involved ? They already gonna be like, "We can't say who called" and then snatch the kid away, put the kid in foster care until legal age of 18. It's really unfair!

@@rawansinger77 my mom had my older sister when she was 18 and I had no idea how hard it was for her in the early years with a daughter and a mom who can only do so much for her until she met my dad and had me a year later and eventually my brothers 3 years later I never realized how hard it must’ve been for her to eventually get her life together and eventually become a social worker

My mom had me in high school and ended up dropping out of school. She did her absolute best to raise me and I was very lucky to be loved by my family who helped my mom take care of me. My dad never married my mom and…without going into much detail, was pretty absent in my early years. My mom eventually went back to school and I’m so proud of her and so lucky to have the family I do. My dad is a little bit more in my life now to make up for lost time. I too have 2 dads…however they aren’t adopted like in the video. I have my biological dad and my stepdad who has been an amazing father to me If I ever have a wedding, I will hope they’d both walk me down the isle. Anyway i really felt for the mom in this video given my mom’s story and I’m so happy the girl got to meet her mom and have an amazing pair of dads

This is exactly what I feel like my mom had to put me up for adoption because she got pregnant with me when she was in college and she couldn’t do school and take care of me at the same time and I thought she didn’t want me I’ve cried several times about it but my mom told me she loved me and I finally know that now. I still think about her every day. Being adopted isn’t easy knowing you can’t see one of your moms or one of your dads but it’s also an amazing thing because some people don’t understand how you can have 2 moms and being adopted means you can explain how wonderful it is to other people and you can teach the world how amazing it is that way and you can hopefully make people understand and you can change the world because then if you explain it people will become inspired and will be able to tell other people so more people know about it and then hopefully one day it won’t be confusing and then the whole world will understand ❤

This video was so beautiful and heart-breaking at the same time, i actually cried about the mother’s story. With all the people not caring about her. Even her mother treated her like trash, she was a terrible mother to the birth mom. I loved this so much and it truly showed how she cared for her daughter so much. And i also like how the other kids at school stood up for Jasmine instead of just laughing with the bullies, it makes it more realistic. Amazing video Dhar! 👏👏👏❤❤

I love how this is more realistic and doesn’t just have the entire class/school hating on one person and being bullies, it was a small group and there were plenty of people being nice to her, instead of the entire class/school agreeing with the bullies, gives it a sense of authenticity and I hope to see more of it, bullying is usually isolated.

While I do understand that the people replying to this comment before this do mean well.. this person said that they live a great life! What are you sorry about? They don’t need pity, nor did they ask for it, in their mum, they have a real role model to look up to. Just because their mum was 15 when she got pregnant, by absolutely no means does it mean that she was a bad parent.. age is nothing but a number in this case. This mum did what she needed to do to give her child a full and happy life, while working to provide and for everything she has.. and she did it on her own. To me, this persons mother is a superhero. Having a child can be just the start of somebody’s life, I imagine she grew up fast because she had to. I can’t imagine it was easy for her, but she did it, didn’t she?! This person said they’re living a great life.. be happy for them, not sorry! Im so glad that things worked out for you and your mum and that she worked to keep you in her life, and showed you how to take responsibility and to be a badass, no matter what life threw at her during her pregnancy, she smashed it! You’re the living proof! I am sorry that your mum had to go through that.. but I’m also proud that she became the person she is, so that you could be the person you are! I’m happy for you both! Some of the best parents I know are young mothers/fathers.. and some of the worst are actually the elders. This parent happened to smash it! Well done, to your Supermum! You must be as proud of her as she is of you! 🥰
