I was live in San Antonio, TX for this fight. I never actually realized until then that the tv networks you watch these fights on actually turn the crowd noise down. The crowd was SO LOUD when AB was getting knocked down, and then it went dead silent when they were announcing the winner and then exploded again when Maidana won lol

Broner was nice and calm when he went back to his corner. His corner was going crazy and Broner had to tell them to calm down. Unlike other fighters Broner never quit and finished the fight. Broner showed heart and just got clowned for it.

Many make fun of AB because of this fight, of course he lost, and it was a tough fight for him. But he fought like a true champ. Being dropped that hard two times + having a broken jaw and being able to still perform and win cupple of ending rounds was something to notice !

And to add to your comment, AB was 135/140 at this time and jumped up to 147 to fight Madaina, and at this time Madiana was a 154 but making 147, naturally bigger and stronger than AB.. AB fan here, and i always felt the jump up was a huge mistake but he showed heart and bravery at the same time, and tried to still win this fight after the knockdowns
