It was an honour hosting GP Singh from Ambient Scientific at ipXchange’s booth at Embedded World 2024. From an engineer’s perspective, it was also amazing to see some reference designs for Ambient Scientific’s ultra-low-power endpoint AI technology in action.
As GP shows us, AI end products can be compact, affordable, and run on batteries. Moreover, such discrete implementations of AI enable always-on use cases such as personal security, health monitoring, and camera-based weapon detection. This innovation comes at a price point where you can secure a school against guns for $1000, making adoption of this technology a no-brainer.
