Really nice. You would need some more diverse and seldom events like the monsters, black hole etc. as a next challenge.

Just thinking if the output "still" is necessary? I haven't seen it flare up much during the video, as the networks just learns to jiggle left and right around the optimal position.

Nice! What mean the five inputs?
@ab8jeh
@ab8jeh 4 роки тому
Looking at the source, they represent 5 directions (E, NE, N, NW, W) in which the doodle 'looks' for pads.

do ai agents only work for self created games or can you train this on actual doodle jump?
@GreerViau
@GreerViau 9 місяців тому
It would be difficult to train on the actual game because for training, you need to be able to simulate the game and run it very fast, to train it on the game in realtime would take forever. You also need to be able to access data from the game to give to the ai as input which is easier if you can write it into the source code. But if you could hack the real game to allow you to do those things then sure you could train on the real game.

Shervin Koushan You can search “Processing” yourself

@@SamDaBest I didn't think he meant an actual application... Processing is a verb as well you know
@epicgamer-co6gs
@epicgamer-co6gs 4 роки тому
@Shervin Koushan the word 'processing' is not a verb. and by 'proccesing' he/she meant a programming language

Why does it choose "left" and "right" and not "still"? Do you really need three outputs here?
@GreerViau
@GreerViau 4 роки тому
Originally it only had left and right, but someone commented on it being "jittery" so to fix that I gave it the option to stay still. But regardless the network evolved to not care about staying still.
