Let’s be honest here. The world of the SCP Foundation is just so sad. Yeah, it’s horrifying. This theme is just so nostalgic. It reminds me of when SCP didn't have all those animation channels trying to make money off it. Just some passionate writers trying to make something larger than themselves

this song conveys so much emotion, it’s amazing, really. It encapsulates the bitter sweetness of the Foundation and the lack of empathy for others that might have been considered “life”, while also touching on the sci-fi inspirations on the last half of the song. This song fits so well in the context of the bleak black and white world the SCP universe is set in. It’s an amazing song overall, although the last part was a bit off in the mood it was short enough to not influence much in the rest of the song.

I think first one third creates such a feeling that what's happening in Organisation and world it preserves is dramatic, depressing and tragic, but worst is yet to come, so this surrounding suffering is merged into everyday life and duty of organisation's personnel at such a level, that It's not even bothering these people, leaving only pragmatic side of problem, and this transition from piano to electronic beats pictures it quite well for me.

When i heard that song, my body automatically saluted and my mind was immersed in K-Class scenarios.

But you keep walking, towards the last place you can call home, so then, you shall rest. Maybe not in peace, maybe knowing all the horrors that hide out there, maybe fearing those who search for revenge, maybe those ghosts from the past will search you... People don’t realize how lucky D-9341 is, but he could also be unlucky, just because he’s able to basically respawn in real life does not make it a blessing, in the MTF ending, he is seen getting taken in for questioning possibly to be contained as an anomaly. In the chaos insurgency ending, the chaos insurgency is seen taking him, except they got trapped and likely the tunnel is about to collapse on all of them, leaving the only scenario where he has a chance at living being the MTF ending.
