Shadows, was the first sabaton song I heard. RIGHT after the film, Fellowship of the a Ring came out, I listened to a interview with the director, Peter Jackson, he mentioned that the coolest thing that spun out of the movie was a Swedish metal band made a song about LOTR, I was intrigued enough to find you, I bought Primo Victoria as soon as it was available. So, know you were referred to by the Director of Lord of the Rings, Peter Jackson. That's cool.

That is so cool, and another link to WW1 themes, with Tolkien being present at the Battle of the Somme. The film, the book, this music: All point to the heavy weight that WW1 still has on our earth. Thanks for mentioning how you found the band! 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲

I have The Hammer has Fallen on repeat now. 😁 Joakim's voice is so raw, you can feel the despair, and that makes the song even more emotional and beautiful. When he yells (to the other) SIDE at the end, it's like he took the jump. Great song, it's gonna haunt me for a while 🙂 Can't wait to see what you guys have to say about it!

I've only been listening to Sabaton for about a year and I haven't really gone back to listen to much of the older stuff yet. This has been an amazing way to experience these first three albums. Burn Your Crosses is amazing, by the way! 🤘

This and fists for fight are criminally underrated. Some amazing songs came from this album such as hammer has fallen, 7734, masters of the world. Would love to hear more of these song come back into the tour rotation, especially hammer has fallen

Det är kul när ett band som sabaton gör det här för sina fans! Kul att höra lite minnen från inspelningen av skivorna bl.a. Väntar med spänning på Carolus Rex skivan och senare för jag gillar texterna och musiken är mer melodiös på dom. Kul med Tobbe i bandet igen men det är ju väldigt tråkigt att Tommy slutar. 🤟🎸

Premieres at 11 a.m. here, and I won't be able to watch until after 5 p.m. Which is fine, although I will have to decide if I watch the video first and use it to get all pumped up to work out, or if I work out first and use the video as my "reward." The *important* thing is to notice that my "problem" is deciding which of two really good things to do first (workout today is video instruction, so can't do both at the same time). Attitude of gratitude! (And thanks to Sabaton for making music that pairs so perfectly with exercising! Listening to them is like eating candy that subtracts calories instead of adding them.) ;)

Man, it's so cool that sabaton also did some cool music about other topics than war, battles and heroes. I wish that was some bonus tracks with off-topic music on regular albuns, or even singles, idk. Also, I can't wait to see the watch party of the Heroes album. I would love to see them talking more about smoking snakes and what an underrated song. And, of course, as a brazillian, COME TO BRAZIL FOR GOD SAKE, I WANT TO SCREAM "COBRAS FUMANTES ETERNA É SUA VITÓRIA". Wish I could've seen you guys at São Paulo in 2019.

II regret that I always ignored this album growing up, not sure why. I guess I thought it wasn't interesting. It took me 15 years to realize that it's actually pretty fucking good haha! I also find it amazing that Shadows was inspired by LOTR!

My lowkey favourite is actually from the extras/demos that you didn't get to here. Birds of War. Really reminds me of 40k, with the organ and the dark fantasy themes and how rough yet epic it is.

I discovered sabaton thanks to a bootleg recording with a Metalizer Medley (not Machine/Crüe medley) you guys played back in 2008 iirc. Been trying to find it gain with no luck.
