Did you try stuffing the fuel tank/reservoir with cotton wool leaving a small cavity before the jet hole? It might help to generate pressure faster as it wicks the alcohol up close to the heat source. In vintage self pressurising alcohol blow torches and some very rare lighters there is a cotton wick inside a small generator/vaporiser tube which has the jet hole.

Acabei de fazer minha versão a partir deste seu vídeo. Fiz algumas pequenas alterações em seu projeto original, em vez de dois buracos na lateral, acrescentei mais dois, o buraco no fundo do recipiente em vez de 1,5 mm, amplie para +/- 3 ou 4 mm, assim não precisa da seringa (só se a pessoa quiser para usar como medida) e em vez de 9 cm de comprimento do recipiente, fiz com 12 cm. O resultado final agradou-me consideravelmente. Minha devida continência a você pelo excelente conteúdo. SELVA!!!

Amazing craftsmanship. Try holes all around next time. 2 different size holes alternating small big small big. Maybe have like 8 holes and a can this size. You will get a much more even, jet like, flame.
