I’ve seen players try to hurt Travis at every game and nothing was done about it. This needs to be addressed and handled and that player should face some serious penalties. That type of behavior can change the course of a young person’s entire life. I hate that someone actually accomplished their grimly goal but my hope is the NCAA will publicly address the issue. Prayers and positivity sent for Travis 🫶🏼

The officials also are to blame because they have a responsibility to stop the game and issue warnings to both teams once the physicality escalates so that it will not cross the line into dirty play, fighting, etc. They acted as if they should just let the teams play because it was a nationally televised game or something. Either they panicked, were cowards or were just as guilty as the whole CSU team (coaches and players) who think dirty play is acceptable. It’s never ok, TV or not. As for Colorado, the sheer discipline it takes to not do anything except win and in dramatic fashion is completely humiliating and depressing for the CSU team as a whole. They never retaliated that I saw and they never resorted to the late hits, head hunting, ankle and knee twisting, etc that CSU was guilty of. I remember seeing them stand silent at JSU when the other team was heckling, using absolute vulgarity and threats against them and Coach Prime. They simply went out and destroyed those punks and walked off like it never bothered them. Pro Football teams couldn’t do that and wouldn’t. The Buffs are the best coached, most disciplined team in football period. The record may or may not reflect that but it’s true no matter what.
