I know, Iknow but he's chief of design since 2022 when the design of the car was already defined and in fact he himself says that he influenced the choices only marginally "not even a car is born in 7 days" if we car and design enthusiasts can consider ourselves such experts It seems clear to me that there is nothing of the Spaniard's style in the Alfa Romeo Milano but really zero! Or at least I hope so, because knowing otherwise would be a real disappointment

Everyone say bad thing about this Milano. Why i don’t see the same hate on other brand suv? Ok Alfa Romeo is the brand of sportiness and driving but you can still buy a Giulia, aaaaand you don’t. The sports car are not selling anymore and suv are decimating other segments, Alfa Romeo is not different and Tonale proved that. It’not a charity brand, they need numbers and this can bring them and money, money that can be invested in new sports car that you want. But yeah, I think even with money we’ll not have new petrol head cars, Porsche and BMW are teaching EV’s are the future sadly and the ICE developments are shutted down constantly.

Ok but they can build all the ev’s they want. Just stop using the Alfa Romeo name while doing it. Make a new car, and keep building within the sales numbers ICE Alfa Romeo’s . Hyundai is creating luxury cars and Alfa Romeo is going backwards to fit in with old Hyundai’s. And why di they keep putting these small red family buses on the race track. We all know that these models DO NOT represent the racing pedigree in Alfa Romeo. How stupid do they think you are? Please let a real alfisti step up and save this brand from this kids who just want what they want despite the obvious. What in the world are you talking about, my dad owned the sud, we are alfistis and I have owned and still own alfa, you are clearly not! has zero connotations to any of alfas of the past, its grill is just horrible, whats with the Renault headlights? Alfa have always been about design and handling. That has none. Just putting many alfa logos around is just pure absurd and what about those huge trims. For what? Its not a sports car, its not an alfa!

@@manu.yt25tell that to Porsche owners. Its us that have been buying Alfas one after the other, not you. And its not because of us the brand started going bad, as past models are renown by any car expert that the design was top edge, could have improved in other aspects such as reliability, but design, alfa stood out for that. Now they want to take that out and make it as all other, ugly french cars. No, they have to keep whats best of it and improve the rest if they want to sell more. Not turn it into a renault/Peugeot/citroen, which already exist. Alfas are for car enthusiasts. If you don’t get that, then its just waiting my time.

I'm not Captur-ed by its looks. It didn't need all that garbage styling under the headlights. The front shield is a travesty. The rear end light bar is just really lazy. I can see reference elements of the Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ or TZ2, but this modern reinterpretation has been done so badly.

Il 95% di quelli che parlano di vergogna, di Alfa-Peugeot e compagnia bella, guida nella migliore delle ipotesi una tedesca motorizzata renault oppure una Dacia. Qui siete tutti alfisti da tastiera ma di Giulia in giro ne vedo pochine. Eppure è una vera grandissima Alfa, trazione posteriore, potente, soluzioni tecniche di serie votate a darle la massima sportività (distribuzione dei pesi 50/50, brake by wire, albero trasmissione in carbonio). Perché vi siete comprati la classe A con il doppio scarico finto? Perché aveva il display più grande e colorato e le luci con i led? Bravissimi 👏 però adesso non rompete se in Stellantis, che ricordo vogliono vendere auto, casualmente si accodano a quello che il mai stream vuole: oneste macchinette per la famiglia e la città sfruttando un brand glorioso come Alfa. Perché, lo ripeto, la massima Sportività ancora oggi imbattuta nella sua categoria dopo 7 anni ha venduto, a parte la mia, un’altra manciata di Giulia. Ciao ciao

es cierto, pero podrian haberle echo un diseño mas diferenciador, especialmente en la trasera que claramente es un peugeot. Con un par de cambios el apartado de diseño podria pasar. L a versión hibrida lleva un 1.2 tricilindrico puretch (me da igual que hayan parcheado el problema de la correa con una cadena, el daño ya está echo) asi que de deportivo y tracción trasera no tiene nada

@@kbk9535 I think YOU don't know anything. Saab simply couldn't compete with BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz. Saab models were either rebadged Opel/Vauxhall cars with very little mechanical changes, but a lot more expensive, or rebadged Chevrolets or other American GM cars with massive engines taxed very heavily in Europe, but very little horsepower, terrible fuel efficiency and horrible plasticky interiors. They couldn't compete.

it's true that it shares the CMP platform with the Stellantis, but the Alfa engineers have done a great job to make it sportier. 14:1 steering ratio, stiffened suspension, redesigned bushings, limited-slip differential on the front. Stiffened structure to increase stability. Too bad about the engine, honestly insufficient for an Alfa Romeo.

Una macchina molto bella che regge il mercato. Chi la critica, probabilmete, se alfa gli facesse una macchina come vogliono loro, non la comprerebbero. Non hanno il senso della realtà. Oggi una macchina deve costare poco e consumare meno. Se no è destinata a fallire. Solo pochi gruppi possono sopravvivere, devono vendere miliardi di macchine per ripagare la progettazione di una piattaforma moderna. Inoltre c'è da reggere l'impatto con le cinesi presto in arrivo. Il presente non è il passato, non ha le stesse regole ed esigenze. se vogliamo competere con la cina dobbiamo dare valore alla nostra storia e i nostri marchi, e non piagnucolare come sento fare a tanti qui. Spero ne venderanno un botto e se agli alfisti non piace, probabilmente vivono nel passato.. remoto.

Saying it's not a real Alfa is somewhat irrelevant, as Alfa has been owned by other companies science the mid 80s when it was bought by fiat. And it means it'll be more reliable and less likely to turn to dust the instant it gets wet.

However, I am convinced that in the reality of everyday life this shark mouth will be disguised as soon as the dealerships that prepare the cars for the buyer realize that putting the license plate so low is unthinkable inevitably destined to be torn off by some sidewalk ! And so .... when the front license plate will be placed inside the grille a sort of "trilobo" (trefoil) will be indirectly recomposed making this frontal more classically alfa romeo
