I think what would be really cool is if you could also open a wildlife hospital in the zoo and randomly people could bring you animals to take care of and with a chance of keeping it if they surrender it. Like if someone finds a baby cougar in the road or something and brings it to the zoo, you get to keep it and raise it. I am not sure that this would work with the setting of the game but would still love a random aspect like that

We definitely need more frogs. We're lacking in amphibians and a couple of new frogs in the conservation DLC would be cool (since many frog species are going extinct)

frontier is clearly scared of animating and coding animals that can fly and perch on things, but they clearly can do aquatic animals… no, i dont care for marine mammals, even though my local zoo has dolphins that were RESCUED and not being captive bred or abused, that physically cannot survive in the wild, (like the orca actor for willy who died alone in the open sea despite the efforts to rehabilitate him to escape captivity) im talking decorative fish for even semi aquatic exhibits like tilapia for cleaning up the fecal matter in water that are in some zoos or just fish for display or enrichment of the animals (not fish feeders. visible fish with fish needs) however they will definitely never do such a thing, unless they make a “planet aquarium” or something, there is a game called “megaquarium” on steam i can highly reccommend to anyone who’s also interested, the game isnt as pretty but it still gets updates and has a upcoming abyssal and arctic marine life update coming, its very accurate and quite addictive, i have a ton of hours on it- also steam workshop with very active and skilled modders aswell
