Watching this I can't help but wonder what our season would look like without all the injuries (And Tonali's idiotic behaviour getting him a suspension!)- though, without them we might not have seen the emergence of Lewi Miley (though he would've gotten appearances, he would likely not have started any). 3 players we haven’t had mostly this season has cost us; a place in knockout Europe, a top 6 in the league possibly top 8 this season, and a league cup defeat on pens. Plus probably a few more defeats soon. Those are firstly Joelinton absent. And the other two are pope - who fans complained about way too much, and willock who they said is slow. Had we have had these three fully fit and maybe Wilson a bit lively and fitter, I’ve no doubt in my mind we would be facing sociedad and also league cup final.
