Tiedemann needs to pitch innings being on the mound and managing the emotions of a big league inning. It's just different than whatever pitching machine labs and low-ball minors. He needs a year+ into next year.

In regards to Vladdy, i think it's like what Justin Turner said. paraphasing here, but you don't need to swing with max effort. Buck was saying in the broadcast yesterday if he keeps having hard contact he's bound to have some squeak through, I tend to disagree as it seems like it leaves the bat hard, but just goes into the ground and loses speed quickly, think launch angle and directionality that it leaves the bat matters a lot here, not just the fact that it leaves the bat hard.
