The Nolan trilogy at number 2. Are you fucking serious? Burton's batman is far from being realistic but at least the goons there is getting hit and trying to fight. in the Nolan's fight they just simply wait for batman to hit them. and batman does not even need to hit them for them to get knocked out cold. the 1966 fight is bad but at least it was intentionally made comidic and kid friendly fight scene.

@danielmartinezmayoral69595 років тому
Does anyone know that martial art employs batman when he fights in burton movies?
@nesarahmed20035 років тому
+Daniel Martínez Mayoral Dave Lea, who was the main fight double for Keaton does mainly Wu Shu Kung Fu but his kicks are also like Tae Kwon Do.
@danielmartinezmayoral69595 років тому
But the position he makes when he fights with joker men, especially against the swordsman is karate, it seems to me. In addition michael keaton trained kickboxing. And finally in the movie when he fights, batman blows are mainly fist and kick does not make projections or demolitions. Well, just throw one of the joker men in the trash.
@nesarahmed20035 років тому
+Daniel Martínez Mayoral Yes, you are right. There is karate plus normal street fighting too. They basically blended a lot of styles. Keaton trained in Chinese Kickboxing. Dave Lea, his main stuntman did Wu Shu / Chinese kickboxing plus a few Karate and Tae Kwon Do moves eg. when he is fighting the guy with the swords. They also had stuntmen who were brawlers/streetfighters wear the Batsuit for the more streetfigting moves like the big punches Batman threw in the alley and Cathedral fight.
@danielmartinezmayoral69595 років тому
Michael Keaton trained kickboxing, in fact I always thought that Burton's batman was trained only in boxing karate kick boxing. Hence, it costs him to defeat opponents as strong as the type of the cathedral.

So my opinion (understand that this is my opinion, I have reasoning behind it, I don't want to argue, I just have my own thoughts on the subject) in terms of live action is Batfleck. The warehouse scene truly fulfills what batman is as a fighter and especially connecting to the lore of this universe, a hardened and jaded vigilante that does not care for the lives of criminals. So he kills and it truly is an intense fight with such fluid choreography and cinematography. Plus, the clip shown in this video isn't even what the entire fight is. It is extremely brutal and lives up to the Dark Knight's style. To add on, the Batman v Superman fight in both BvS and TDKR 2 are lined up side by side. Granted, the BvS fights were only clips so you can't get a full experience, but the essence of both Batmen are pretty similar. Ben Affleck portrays batman similarly to the comic book inspiration. The suits, the styles, but the brutality of Batman is amped up to a more realistic (I say loosely since it is a comic book movie) style. Could a man really kick a steel beam up even in a metal suit? Anyways, Batfleck is probably the most accurate incarnation of The Batman to date. Christian Bale's take on batman was perfect for what it was set out to be: A realistic take on Batman. Bale's batman isn't at peak human condition, his workout routine isn't even comparable to Affleck's. Bale's style of fighting fits more for his style of character. His character is an intelligent one, and his fights do show technique that many others struggle with meeting to his degree of expertise. Still, his fighting is slower and his punches feel powerful but more to the power a regular person would have. Compare it to Batfleck and punching someone so hard into the floor that they stay elevated from that pivot point in which their head connects. Bale is still a regular person in comparison. To quickly sum up this piece of analysis, the previous incarnations of the Burtonverse for batman Keaton's would be the most well trained out of the others. He fights against armed foes with actual skill and self defense. But still, he is slower due to the material of his suit was a lot heavier. Kilmer's suit was lighter but there was a significant decrease in effort for fighting between Keaton and Kilmer. And even less for Clooney. Batfleck in my opinion is the best. He is so fluid and intimidating as the batman. Sadly, it seems like he won't stay for long. To make it worse, it seems that despite him and Wonder Woman being the best parts of BvS, there wasn't enough to make them shine the way they should have. BvS wasn't a great movie, I love it for what it is, but from a casual movie watcher's POV, it was hard to stay in. I had to really pay attention in the Ultimate Edition which made up for everything more.

Keaton and Kilmer have my favorite fights because unlike in the Nolan films. Their Bruce’s had real skills to fighting, they looked like they we’re trained by the League unlike Bale’s Bruce who looks like a random Street Brawler. AND HE WAS TRAINED BY THE LEAGUE! Yes BVS has the great warehouse scene and I think it’s fantastic. That’s the best fight since 1995 for me. The ball room fight In Batman Forever is also one of my favorite fights in the whole series, I love the homage payed to Raiders if you know what I’m talking about. Hell Batman forever is honestly my 3rd favorite Batman Film and It’s not based on nostalgia. I saw it after the Dark Knight trilogy and Burton Duelogy in 2012 and I never stopped loving it. Great Bruce, Good Batman, Robin, Riddler, Two-Face, and plot. Unlike every Batman fan I really enjoy that film

In terms of fighting style: 1-BvS 2-Nolan Trilogy 3-Batman 4-Batman Returns 5-Batman Forever 6-Batman and Robin In terms of overall movie quality: 1-TDK 2-Batman Begins 3-TDKR 4-Batman 5-Batman Returns 6-BvS 7-Batman Forever 8-Batman and Robin In terms of aestethics, visuals and fighting style BvS Batman was the closest to the comics. Sadly Snyder didn't understood the character and turned him into a resentful murderous sociopath like Frank Miller's Batman instead the regular Batman of the comic book continuity. Also in terms of narrative BvS was a mess and the motivations of the characters didn't make any sense. Despise Nolan tried to put Batman on a more realistic scenario he got the core and values of Batman characterization, his interaction with Alfred, Gordon, Joker, Two Face and Bane were perfect. The main problems of Bale's Batman was the batvoice and the fighting style. (It wasn't that shitty for its time but Captain America movies set a new standard). Affleck is a good actor. I have no doubt under a good director like Matt Reeves he can deliver a better performance capable to surpass Nolan's films.
@alexsapsarras48126 років тому
I agree with you, in the most, although frank millers batman was not a murderer(a sociopath sure which version of batman isnt?) If you read the dkr, you will see that although batman is hunted by the police for several reasons BUT murder is not one of them. Also in the first fight with the mutant leader, he uses rubber bullets against his army of goons and even states that although he doesnt see a reason not to shoot their leader in the head, he doesnt want to break the oath he kept 30(?) years ago. Snyder can say whatever he wants,in reality he is only right about the burton movies(batman does kill there,with a smile too)and in a way in nolans(in the case of the last battle of batman begins,where he states that not saving doesnt mean killing,when he lets ras al ghoul die in the train,while in the comics he has saved numerous of his worst enemies in similar situations.
@Fish4Man616 років тому
Agreed mostly, however talking about strictly movie quality, I am one of the few ones that would probably have begins above TDK, but yeah - those are my top two. But believe it or not, Batman & Robin and Batman Forever should be above BvS. I actually enjoyed them, in their cheap, sometimes annoying, but very campy way. Like a more modern version of the Adam West series. The villain plot didn't make sense with the person for the green of the earth teaming up with the guy who wants to freeze it over, but it didn't have to - it was simple, not in the way, and wasn't as convoluted with that misunderstandable plot of the BvS one. Overall, I had laughed, and smiled on several points in those movies. But when watching BvS, I can't help but feel about an hour and a half into it a few yawns crack in - and for some god damn reason I had to suffer through it three times, and it got the same 'this shit is boring' reaction; even more with the extended cut. It is just the perception of B&R 'ruined the CB industry', and was a disaster statement of the 90s, that people seem to feel it is the worst; when an objective look outside of the context of what happened in their respective years outside the movie - to the actual movie quality and enjoyment, that it isn't actually the worst one there. Not anymore anyway :). Also, I am not even unsure if the 'it destroyed the CB movie industry' at the time even holds that much water to the now bigger hype to the time, and how much BvS perhaps put a whole damper on the overall chances of the already agreed to DCEU, simply by removing a lot of hype for the movie and more skepticism.
@mattbright26385 років тому
Why does it have to be that Snyder didn't understand Batman? Couldn't it be that he's just doing a different version? A version that realistically portrays what 20 years of fighting crime would do to a person psychologically? I mean here's a guy that has been fighting a losing battle, watching friends and loved ones get killed or turn evil, and finally breaks when he sees someone with the power of a God destroy an entire city. He's past the point of thinking criminals deserve another chance and has decided he will do whatever it takes to get the job done. I mean, he's the secondary antagonist of the film. Batman isn't the good guy in BvS, Supes is. And it takes Batman realizing what Superman stood for at the end of the film before he sees how he's gone way too far. Then he decides to try and live up to the hero that he used to be and the example that Superman showed him. That's what I took away from the film anyway. Just seemed like this was a different take on Bats and Supes. Think of it sort of like an Elseworlds story.
@wagnar3 роки тому
@@mattbright2638 At what point of BvS, Batman sees he "gone way too far"?. All the realized was Superman's mom was also called Martha so somehow he could relate to him. There is no moment in the entire Snyder Saga were Batman give up his ultra violent methods and his killing streak. Hell even to save Martha (Clark's mom) he resorted in extreme violence and murder. The problem with Frank Miller version is it works well for an elseworld like TDKR or Injustice. You can't build a universe without the iconic mainstream Batman which the audience can relate.
