Sir Alex bought Kagawa in order to be the X Factor but was largely disappointing as we didn't look to compliment him. Moyes bought Mata but again didn't do anything to compliment him and instead we have seen numerous managers play him on the right side. Whereas Madison plays in a 10 for Leciester or Silva floats for City, Coutinho did it during his time at Liverpool. To be honest I don't even think we've every suited playing a 10 but it's been poor that we've bought flair players only to turn them into workman-like players.
