It's already available in the UK in RHD. Though, America is poor at doing business in the commonwealth. The market most like the United States. In English speaking Africa, almost no American consumer products exist. And it's not Wakanda.

As good as this E-Ray will be in its own right in 0-60 times and on all on all surfaces, it was not designed to be an "all-out" track car (road course track); it's designed to be a straight through car (i.e. drag and roll races, etc.), but the Z06 was designed to be a true track car for the entire 8th gen of all models, and it weights much lighter than an E-Ray (E-Ray will weight 4,000+) at ~3,650, and has a race-tuned (in it's track mode) suspension setup that the E-ray won't quite have here, and the Z06 will kill the E-Ray in terms of exit speed on the turns at any race track. Only thing better than the 2023 Z06/Z07 for the track that the public consumer can buy will be Z06 GT3.R coming for MY24, which will be a real race car that is not street legal.

I’m pretty sure the zr1 will be full gas. The zora will be the tt version of the lt6 engine with 1000 hp.

@@andrewcox3137 you’re right about the ZR1 being full gas it’s going to be twin turboed LT6 and the Zora variant will be just like the ZR1 but come with the electric AWD option. That Zora is gonna be the king of the roads mark my words.

It's over 300lbs heavier than the Z06 and makes 15hp less, it can only launch better than the Z06, so the Z06 destroys it in every other category of performance. The price difference is $2,000. I'm certainly going to prefer the lighter and more agile Z06

@chabweezy9905 the Z06 is still faster in a straight line. It's got 15hp more and weighs over 300lbs less. The only reason why the E-Ray does so well is because it uses AWD to get a better start off the line, then the Z06 just pulls until it passes

@1badmfkr the ZR1 comes next. It's a supercharged or twin turbo version of the LT6, and will be called the LT7, and 800hp is the target

I asked the same question at a dealer and they said that since the Camaro is being discontinued that they would be able to increase Corvette sales

someone from Bowling Green said they are planning to add a 3rd shift in early summer. that might make it possible to build all 3 variants but still keep them somewhat limited in volume overall. I only read that in a new blurb, I have no proof, but it would make sense if they can do that.

Diminishing returns on all that power. If you can't keep traction, it's worthless. But it also means that a corvette with more power and better tires should simply be faster.

yep, that will be called the "Zora" model for the 8th gen here, and it's expected to produce 1,000+ HP which will be insane here for the brand.

It wouldn't be 1000hp. 670 engine + 160 electric motor = 830hp. Still would be an insane car. I have a feeling this is what the C8 ZR1 will be.

@@nicb7350 I think the ZR1 will be a twin-turbo of the Z06's 5.5L V8 for around 850hp. Then the Zora will have the E-Ray's electric drivetrain added to bring the total HP to around 1000.
