Yeah, I broke mine and got it fixed about 2 weeks ago. I had to take it to a phone repair shop and get the screen replaced. The screen now looks and works good as new again.

This definitely works each time I have the "black screen of death" on my Note 4 (Sprint); however it is not a permanent fix. I have to do this at least 10x a day. I have heard it has to do with the marshmallow update.
