When I was homeless I lived in my car. On cold nights, the rain was comforting. Didnt know how many times Id hear the comforting sound of the rain on the car. Didnt realize I would miss it. Now I listen in my bed, with my wife. Helps sleep, reminds me of the hard times, makes you value the good times. Much love to anybody who has had to listen to this noise.

This is exactly how I remember my childhood days (nights). I used to sleep with this beautiful and comforting sound. This beautiful video has become my go-to safe place when I’m having a panic attack. I’ve got a little lower back massager that I put on, roll on some lavender oil and I imagine I’m sitting on the end of that bed in this lovely room. I allow the anxiety to move through me, reminding myself that I’m safe, and It does the trick every time. There’s something about this room that’s so inviting and soothing and I love how cleansing the rain sounds. You can almost smell it.
