I cannot believe how refined your process is...every time I watch the beginning I doubt there's any way it will be cleaned up and polished and sure enough...every damn time you do an incredible job. Could you tell us more on how you speed up this process? I'm still learning. I have a "masterpiece" comic much like your Ravine (which I bought and loved when the first volume came out.) Great work. I'm always so mindblowned when I see your process. You often talk about "flattening" colors. Does that make the picture more unified? I have this problem. Colors in my drawing stick out, way too much. Is that why you must flattened colors?

One thing i find odd you not using is the horizontal flip. Makes life much, much easier, also, oldest trick in the book (in Photoshop like tools, IRL, you flip it upside down, with, limited results, of course).
