4000hp JBS turbine racing mystic testing in Miami, great detail shots, running and pure insane turbine sound. JBS gave Geico a run for a while, sank in the SBI Miami race and they're coming back to Key West this year with a new weapon.

Shifting is an amazing setup designed by Turbine Marine - you press a little button under your finger on the shifter which applied breaks to the turbine shaft dropping the RPM to the shift point for the transmission.

You have different gears in this? Why? I understand it with land vehicles. But a boat? Do you have several gears for forward? Why? I get the point of a reverse gear. However, forward gears make no sense to me. Spin prop, go. Spin prop faster, go faster. Please explain to me.@@alvinski100

@@spankthemonkey3437 Yes, the vapor you see coming from the exhausts is sea water which is cooling the exhaust gasses as they exit the turbine via the jacketed exhaust pipes, warm water basically that you can wash your hands in.
