This is the perfect allegory for trying out a hobby that was recommended to you and you enter in a strange world only to find out that its not the right place for you. Whether its D&D, crossfit or even trying to pick up a hobby like running, each have their own strange world that requires effort to try and get integrated into the hobby/community.
