As I was working on a three-part series of videos for this channel about ways to transform a theme, I ended up composing a set of variations on for organ along the way, and this variation felt like a great candidate to add a (reflected) score animation.

Inverting themes chromatically as part of a set of variations is NOT something I invented: an absolutely stunning example of this can be found in Variation 18 of Rachmaninoff's "Paganini Variations."
