As a Rwandan, I am thrilled to see the progress my country is making through technology, and the impact that innovative companies like Zipline are having in developing countries. The revolutionary work of Zipline in providing medical supplies via drone technology is changing lives and improving access to healthcare in rural areas. This is genuinely amazing to me as a RN working in Alaska. This is easily the best example of necessity being the mother of invention. Large hospitals in major urban areas almost always have a huge stockpile of medical supplies or blood on hand but rural areas more often have to medevac the patient to that hospital as opposed to bringing the critical treatment supplies to them. Jean 3:16-19,36
