Ben Reilly isn't a new character. Ben Reilly has existed since the 80s. He's gonna be taking the mantle of Spider-Man in Peter's absence, this isn't the first time this has happened aswell. Imo Ben Reilly is a much better Character than Miles Morales.

I have a theory that at the end they try to to team up to fight Ben and almost kill him, possibly due to some false information that he staged the U-Foes or something like that, or maybe Beyond has something to do with it, until Peter personally appears and stops them before they can kill Ben for like the 28th time or something

Yeah an old school Ben fan like me! A lot of us grew up with Reilly in the 90s. I think Marvel is finally getting that after pretending he didn’t exist for years. I wonder if we’ll see the Daily Grind crew.

Hate to break it to you, this is not related to the MCU movie in any way other than the Spider-Man name. The comic is a follow up to whatever is the current arc at the moment, not to build up hype for the movie.

This is MARVEL ENTERTAINMENT's channel. Not jus Marvel Studios, Marvel Comics, Marvel tv, etc. Haven't you noticed _EVERY_ time we got close to a new MCU film, that this channel uploads things specifically surrounding that character(s)? That's not on accident. Civil War, all this Civil War comic stuff gets uploaded. Black Widow, all this BW comic content is uploaded. "Get to kno Natasha & the different Black Widows" "The Red Room", etc. Black Panther, Shang-Chi, Eternals, etc. They all follow this trend. Kinda priming the audience on who these characters are and upcoming different comic lines that are launching around the same time as the film. It doesn't matter if it's comics or movie stuff, they want traffic to that name. Then more people Google & YT search; "Black Panther", "Spider-man", "Star-Lord", "The Wasp", Certain villains, etc. Thus, more eyes are on the films and whatever upcoming comic strips or games that are releasing soon. I'll jus simply say this... You can't tell me that all the hype for NWH & Avengers 5 ain't gonna help drive the sales for this comic or Spider-man 2 (PS5) respectively. Or even that Wolverine clip. Prolly got people hyped, now they searching the old games, X-Men movies & comics! And I BET you! By the time we get that Wolverine game, we're gonna have our new or old, a Variant whatever Wolverine in the MCM. And jus like how Spider-man did, we got the MCU outfits. So we'll def get the new MCM Wolverine outfit & maybe even the legacy Fox Wolverine outfit in the Wolverine game. Mark my words. It's jus all about building up hype for all things of that character. "Spider-man MCU, Spider-man Comic, Spider-man games, Miles, Venom, etc." It's all hyping everyone up for all facets of the character. It's all clicks towards Spider-man regardless, Thus, all clicks towards Marvel in the end. Kno what I mean? They're smart. They kno what they're doing with timing things. 👌🏾
