America didn’t give Guy the credit he deserved. He is an amazing singer and he isn’t auto tuned, it is all him. You need to listen to his music. This was a melody of songs but all of his music is fantastic. And no they are not his total songs. He has made much more music and you should react to some of the complete versions of his songs. He is a master craftsman and America missed out by not giving him a record deal, cudos to him for not changing who he is. He will always be one of Australia’s shining stars.

Listen to his first album and the version of Battle Scars he did with Lupe Fiasco live on the X factor Australia where he was also a judge. I prefer that to his live solo version. My youngest daughter was being treated for cancer when she was 2 years old when he was on the first Australian ldol. I needed something to focus on to take my mind off her treatments and he was it. I was in the hospital with her the night the winner was announced, and l had to restrain myself from yelping out loud when he was declared the winner, as we were on a shared ward. My youngest is now 22 by the way and healthy as a horse.

The best thing is he always comes across on tv as so genuine and such a lovely person. You should check out his version of 'The Prayer' with Bella Taylor Smith. She was the winner of the Voice Australia in 2021 and he was her coach. It is an absolutely stunning, immaculately performed song. Her voice is absolutely incredible, and combined with his they are absolutely amazing.
