Amir has a tell on the poetry segment. He over explains his poem before reading each time. With Sadie, he stopped to explain that the pauses were line breaks. With Ha-Eun he over explained that it was a Korean name, and even spelled it. He also put his in the middle each time.

He's also a bit heavy-handed with the way he uses techniques like repetition and symbolism, but I think that's something that just gets better with exposure to other poems and experience writing them
