it was actually because he is an Ace at Starf, which is a sport in the future. So he is StarfAce. The star on his face was just a coincidence.

What's his name again... Deformed Mug his friends called him, but he became popular as "ScarfAce". It had a brighter, more positive ring to it, more fitting of his joyful soul. Starface shown here later became kown as StarveAce, when he tried winning the Asteroid Conflicts by going on a hunger strike. Well, not later, but earlier actually, before he turned towards the Shady Side of the Power. There's a lot of chronological confusion about his diaries because of the order in which he wrote them. I've never known anyone who could walk the skies as well as him... Only someone who was kind of an akin, but that's a different story.

@@ryanmccampbell7 I mean, kinda depends on what you mean with improvised. It's probably not fully scripted, but the broad strokes - "the plot", if you will - still have to be planed, else you are not gonna arrive at anything substantial or even funny. All of the animated stuff is certainly not improvised. The name Starface is one of the things that's almost certainly scripted. Watch the video "Last Night, at the Party" at 6:11 were one of the guy is told "just stick to the goddamn script". Joel is just good at making you think it's improvised - it's a style.
