wanted to point out there are people in NY who meet up to beatbox & busk in spaces, like Lembo & Riku, a few others. Not criticizing just noting that it does happen.

there needs to be more incentive for beatboxers to participate. Hard to call yourself world champ, if 30 of the best beatboxers in the world didn't compete

Footboxg was in a total of 5 battles and went up against pacmax, napom and blackroll. It's safe to say he's pretty deserving of the world champion title lol Otherwise i agree, though this is bbwc coming back from the dark after 5 years so people may be encouraged to compete again after seeing all the vids from the recent edition.

@@Destroy666x The levels aren't the same. Also I personally wouldn't consider someone a top beatboxer just because they battle. Don't attack me like that though, if we consider battling as proof of the top beatboxers let's look at the top 4 in GBB, which countries have one it the most ect. Let the stats speak for themselves.

15:08 Having a top 32 only backfired because over half of those who were eligible for eliminations didn't turn up to this event. Curious to know what the biggest reason behind this was. I think the biggest letdown of the event was barely discussed in this podcast and that is the huge drain of talent there was at this event. Countless big names and up-and-comers were never eligible to compete or didn't turn up for whatever reasons. We were expecting 80+ people competing in this event. That is bad when less than half appeared and I don't think this has happened before in past WBBC's? If not, we need to find the reason of this problem. Furthermore, it could have been far over 100+ if the event wasn't based on national competitions only and biased to exclude great beatboxers in talent dense countries (as spoken in this video). I have been advocating for a top 32 in GBB and WBBC for a number of years now, because the community has grown and there is so much talent that I feel it is needed to be more representitive of the pool of talent at eliminations. However, the caveat is that this can only work if we actually have a large pool of the best beatboxers in eliminations.

We need more REAL music and not the stuff that people are pushing forward right now. Most of what beatbox international is pushing is pretty counter intuitive as well.

@@yardh have you thought about how hard it was for anyone from asia to go to previous GBBs? japan has the most demand for beatbox more than any other country right now anyway - it's the most logical decision sbx could have made
