If you are preaching politics from the pulpit your church should not be tax exempt!

The fact that Greg Locke is hugely popular in this country and that millions take him seriously - is a very sad reflection on America.

This is a prime example of why separation of church and state is so important!

No matter where you stand on the issues, you have to give Adam Yamaguchi credit for honest and respectful journalism.

I've actually read and heard that their were people in this Christian nationalist movement asking God in prayer for permission to hurt people that didn't agree w their beliefs.. This really scared me. I wish we could all just get along.

It's fascinating how Locke is two different people in an interview and on the stage. Decide for yourself what he's up to.

Greg Locke was in foster care and I felt strongly that he might be from a background like that, you can see he feels frustrated and probably felt unloved and unwanted so when I heard him say he was in foster care, I thought, it all makes sense about his anger and his need to have attention. But I wish he would get help for that and stop causing division and hatred from his pulpit.

He says he follows the Bible….then feed the poor, help the sick, help the foreigner….. As a Christian, that is why I identify with the “left” more than I do the “right” Love thy neighbor and get vaccinated.

When it’s all said and done you will see a move of God that exposes everything! The truth will win out, and many will be embarrassed by the lack of faith revealed in their own walk! I am a pastor in inner city Indianapolis, and so appreciate the boldness of Pastor Locke to stand for the word of God, and his country! I would gladly stand in the trenches with this man of God! All glory to God for bringing up a Warrior in pastor Locke!

I like his very last statement, where he basically says 'yeah I may be absolutely crazy, but at least I believe it'

Guys like Greg Locke are one of the reasons I have left Christianity and the church behind.

That man manages to say SO MANY WORDS but say nothing coherent, of value or substance. Truly an impressive skill.

I am a retired pastor that believes wholeheartedly that the Church as a whole, for the most part, has sat by, uninvolved, for decades and has been desensitized to the evil that we are now dealing with that has come in like a flood and consumed our societies around the world, not just in the United States! Every generation has had its Greg Lockes who have stood boldly and preached against this progressively encroaching evil, but only a few would hear and now we are reaping the fruit of the seeds we have allowed to be sown. I was one of those who consistently sounded the warning and preached that Jesus Christ was the only WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. I was constantly at odds with the followers of the “status quo” inside and outside the churches I served. The way I see it, Pastor Locke and others like him are indeed following Jesus Christ! Jesus constantly stood at odds with the religious status quo of the day that the Scriptures tell us “honored God with their lips, but their hearts are far from Him!” Instead of your rather obvious and poor attempt to make these preachers of righteousness look bad, perhaps you should try making them look like the heroes they are! I must say I was rather amused by your comment about the Global Vision congregation having to move into a “circus tent.” All I see is a congregation growing so rapidly that they wisely erected a temporary facility to hold the number of people who are coming from all over the world to be in these services to experience something that is spiritually genuine! Instead of using the term “circus” in describing this tent, why not call it what it is, a modern-day Tabernacle where God has chosen to pour out His blessings and approval on the worship and delivery of the Word of God that is taking place in it! We use adjectives to describe things based on their obvious characteristics. I don’t see a circus taking place under that tent, therefore it is not a “circus tent”! It is a temporary tabernacle where worship to Almighty God is taking place! I think I would be a little careful calling something God has placed His stamp of approval upon a “circus tent.” I will say this in closing. I watched this entire “documentary” hoping there was still some quality journalism left in this world. Although you do present some valid points worth consideration and debate for clarification, all you have really done is further solidified the position of those on either side of this debate. Your bias against the boldness of preachers of righteousness like Pastor Locke who are passionate about returning our country to a higher consciousness of God and His righteousness and a closer relationship to Him is obvious. You have failed to present most of his remarks from his preaching clips in the context which they were presented. Your comments did nothing but cast him in a negative light. You even highlighted other ministers who supposedly disagree with him and cast them in a more positive light. I’m sorry, but even the New Testament teaches that there are differences in styles of ministry in the Kingdom of God and as long as the central focus of those ministries is preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, then they are doing what they should be doing and all ministry that is leading people to Christ is to be honored. But, if we depended on documentaries like yours to make such a determination about Pastor Locke, we would be left scratching our heads. Whatever happened to the kind of journalism that honestly presents truth in context and evidence from both sides of a debate about BOTH SIDES of a debate? Go back and show us more clips from the same messages Pastor Locke preached where he brings his comments to the central focus of his message, the hope that we all have in the saving grace and the unconditional love of God that we have through Jesus Christ the Lord!

As a Catholic, I can not imagine going to church and hearing this type of hatred spewing from the mouth of my priest ..it would be time to find a new church.

I left that subculture in the late seventies, partly because of the growing influence of Jerry Falwell and his ilk and their conflation of religion and right wing politics. I now describe myself as a recovering evangelical, 43 years sober.

The rundown on Pasta Locke: he put his wife through so much emotional and mental abuse she ended up in an institution; he preaches against divorce and adultery but had an affair with his wife's best friend who was also a church member and church employee, he and his mistress divorced their spouses and married each other; he ranted against pandemic restrictions, refused to implement guidelines in his church and demanded members keep coming and maintain donations even if shutdowns had them broke; he protested against masks, said they were useless and oppressive and threatened to throw out anyone who turned up wearing one but posted himself wearing Trump or MAGA masks; he threatened to kick a Dunkin' Donuts employee in the teeth for asking him to wear a mask in the restaurant as per restaurant policy then boasted about it on social media; he pushed the "leftist ch*ld abuse/trafficking" conspiracy theories but hired a convicted ch*ld rap*st as Youth Leader in the church; he has submitted members to verbal abuse, insults and embarrassment; he has refused to allow examination of church finances and attacks members who question why the church is still in a tent long after members raised enough$ for a permanent building; he is known to be a past and allegedly current user and abuser of illegal and legal drugs and alcohol; he has been alleged by current and past members to have made unwanted and improper physical and verbal s*xual advances to both male and female members; he has been alleged by past and current members to have been seen frequenting the services of pr0stitutes including a crossdresser/trans. ln other words he's a run of the mill evangelical leader

I always find it ironic when religious people talk about how they're not "sheep", when apparently Jesus referred to himself as a shepherd.

The Preacher said that his congregation is one sided and that he telling what tickles theirs ears and preach what they want to hear instead telling the truth which they may not want hear. That is the definition of a false prophet. The false teachers don’t even quote the Bible. 🤦‍♀️

When Greg Locke said he knows that he’s scratching the itch of those who come to see him, since they all agree, I thought of this scripture: “For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.” ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4:3-4‬ Seems about right. This Christian Nationalism movement is deeply concerning and does not at all represent Christ.

I grew up with these people. Twenty years of abuse, homelessness, starvation, and mental torture. Ten years of recovery, and I can finally almost breathe free in my own skin. I still can't watch a horror movie. I still face the front door in restaurants. I've seen pure evil in my life, and it came from the very people who offerered salvation. Your fealty and passivity, your politeness and manners buys you nothing. They will destroy your childhood innocence from within. This modern movement of fundamentalism is truly the forked tongue the Bible warned about.

I don’t align with the preacher that was banned from twitter, it could be considered a badge of honor, but I definitely think he’s closer to the true Gospel than the other preachers you interviewed. Jesus never made politics a rallying point. Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s. The citizenship of the Christian is in Heaven, from where He will return to rule and rein. In the meantime He instructs His children from the Bible. Come Lord Jesus!

Having been raised roman catholic (and despite having left) I associate churches as places of tranquility and when I see these preachers and congregations yelling about politics at the top of their lungs, I can't help but think they would have gotten a smack up the head by a little old nun and been told to shut it at my old church. Well made documentary, though.

I was once involved with the Religious Evangelical movement. So glad I saw the light and got out. They are clueless about the LOVE that God is about. They're legalistic and judgemental.

It's becoming really scary depending on where you live. You're almost afraid to say who you support or what you believe in anymore. It's sad that people I used to be friends with have been removed from my social media accounts, the hate coming from them while posting scripture was just getting to be too much. As a Christian who used to belong to an Evangelical Church, I now cringe when I hear the word Evangelical or BAG (Born Again.)

I am so glad that I read the Bible on my own. And that I don't attend any of these churches. And I am amazed at what I'm able to recognize in the world today since I've been reading my Bible and paying attention. It's really sad to see so much anger and division in our country, and to see so many people being misled spiritually and politically. 💔😢🙏

Here in Australia, we can have six pubs and one church in a small town, America has six churches to one pub, Australians get the social interaction from pubs and Americans get it from churches, Australia we buy a beer and drink and talk to mates, America gives money to the church for a bigger jet that the one the preacher already has. American churches hate when you don't conform with them, Australia doesn't care which pub you go to as long as you have a good time.
