True! They remind me of 90s documentaries. I love this style - more than the documentary style today. His videos got such a calm mood. I'm HSP and I love his videos.

Rick is a treasure. I'm 46 now and haved watched his shows since 100 years ago it feels, some of my best memories of my late father were during Mr Steves shows. Bless you

one day I will have enough money to go to these places, also on an unrelated note if only I had a way of finding a job that gets me to travel just like rick steves my idol, maybe just working as an executive producer for a travel show or something

@@vaibhavsingh1282not only the money but each country has rules on long term stay & require a visa, even then often there are restrictions on work & such. So you are right it’s not just a pack your bag & move thing.

I’m sure it was an accident or a cultural difference but the tour guide’s inflection at 1:55 sounds like he’s mocking Rick Steves in a French accent, “No, it’s not a HUNT-TING scene.”

What is mind boggling about the discovery of the French cave paintings in September 1940 is France was invaded and overrun by NAZI'S by may-June in 1940... .
