Last year when Roger singled out Andrey as the player to watch, I was surprised at first. But he was so right. Phenomenal tournament - and year - for Rublev. And Borna continues to impress with high quality tennis and grit. Loved watching this tournament.

He has always had talent but would be so inconsistent. What I have been impressed by is his focus, his fitness has MASSIVELY improved recently as has his movement forward and range of shots. Russian players always had issues with temprament and consistency but he looks like another to watch for the next few years. GS titles are a big step up as proven for zverev, medvedev, theim (finally) , but can see some deep runs the next year.

Rublev plays the most exciting tennis, it's just fun to watch him play. I'm glad he's stayed true to his style of always swinging big for the fences. I know that experts must have told him to play more defensive and safe tennis, and in the short term it probably would have meant more wins, but I'm glad that he hasn't changed. Good things come to those that wait. Keep swinging big Andrey.

Rublev's playing style resembles that of Jim Courier, if anyone remembers him. I was a great fan of his at the time, and I love that Andrey Rublev has that same style of avoiding the backhand and doing lots of legwork

As simple as his game is, and one dimensional, he really has a strong foundation already. Great mobility, powerful strokes, a fighter's mentality. Combined with his athleticism, aside from injuries, he can surely become a top 10, maybe even top 5 player, depending on how he adds to his game. His game is still in the developmental stages and he can certainly add to it to make it much more versatile. Whether my prediction happens is a completely different story. But he does have potential.
