Ange is building. Changing tactics for short term wins is not what he’s about, he has so many young players that need time to grow. If you follow Ange’s career you know he grows his own. He picks players that fill his philosophy, he rarely spends big money to fill a current need. His patience is one of his frustrating strengths clearly spur supporters need to adjust to that. Think about agile fundamentally, that’s Ange’s thinking. He needs this team competing to grow and that’s not this season, it’s next. Ange has Sonny to guide the young forwards, look at Johnson, Maddison and now Wener but they need time to be polished and I would expect that means more than a couple of seasons. Same in the back, Porro is leading those young men. Vicario needs to be stronger so he’s not so easily pushed around on the goal line, that will take a few off seasons to build his physical strength. Yes he’s good but he needs to be better. Ange’s team know exactly what he’s building. I would think Ange already has a plan to draw from the academy players. This constant need echoed from journalists and fans has to stop. Buying current stars will rarely happen if at all under Ange. The big spending will never be in his plans, having the money to retain what he cultivates is his plan. The players who stay will stay cause they love playing for him and only a few will chase bigger bucks. That’s exactly how he gets these young players to come play for him. Ange’s frustration with some of these questions is clear, Alistair Gold is one of the few journalists who understands what Ange is about because he’s a damn fine journalist who went back and did his research on Ange’s philosophy, the failures and the successes: The fans chasing a top 4 are irritating, this season is not about a top 4. 10 minutes was spent talking about CL prize money

It seems that more of attacking strategies are needed. Especially when we meet a very defensive team, just 1 attacking strategy is not enough. We need some anomalous attacking tactics which are unpredictable to the opponents. We need more good finishers on both wings in order to avoid Sonny being intensively blocked. They have to make more spaces for Sonny to shoot with their good off the ball movements when Sonny gets blocked. We already saw Sonny got down deep to make some spaces for his wingers. We need a fast switching play continuously into the box and out of the box in order to distract our opponents. It can make some spaces to shoot at some point. I hope Ange comes up with good tactics against defensive teams and also counterattacking teams. I think we should not lose too many goals any more....... if we want to win something. VDV and Vicario play perfectly enough now. I think Ange should help them with good tactics when they meet a counterattacking opponent. I just hope Ange and our players are well prepared for revenge when we meet Chelsea again soon...........!! I don't want to see Jackson's hat trick again ..........🥲🥲🥲
