Hola como estas? Yo terminé de construir una hace muy poco tiempo. El problema que tengo es justamente lo que comentas. Demasiadas oscilaciones laterales cuando está extendido. Aunque todo está bien ajustado, no puedo eliminar dichas ocilaciones (leves) Como lo has resuelto? Saludos

It probably deflects a lot with body english. If the verticals were tubing as well- bridged at the top- it would probably not have much runout. Think about a compound mitre saw: unless one leans on it in operation it makes very accurate, repeatable cuts if you don’t introduce deflection and cause runout. So if you make the pivot point more robust it should be accurate quite a bit beyond ‘close enough.’ The other flaw in the design is the lack of a quick adjustment fence to locate the work, and time-consuming hold-downs is another. $5 of hardware and some 1” angle would solve the former; the latter could be mitigated by modifying a cheap locking pliers-style welding clamp. I can see this thing being a significant time saver. PLUS a space saver in a small shop like mine where a rocking metal bandsaw and even a small shear would be a very unwelcome use of floor space- which is the main reason I have neither. As far as the R side versus L side mounting of the angle grinder: I also would rotate the tool 180* to accommodate pushing towards the rear where I would locate a 90* fence. Then cutting without constant reinstalling of a holdfast would up time efficiency substantially. Space efficiency: having a fixed beam instead of a traveling beam lets you work with it while not having 24” of clearance behind, but on the other hand that would limit versatility because it wouldn’t self-compensate for disc wear (diameter).
