1:10:35 One thing I love with this specific sequence between King and the stickmen is that each stickman coming up to fight has a theme behind it. 1:10:39 Red was the first to be corrupted by the Minecraft Block (via herobrine) and the one who suggested they follow Purple, so it makes sense that he now feels responsible for all of what’s happening. He also attacks for his classmates and headmaster/possessor who were just erased. 1:10:46 Green entering almost instantly to save Red is ironic considering he was imprisoned 3 times this season and had to wait a considerable amount of time before the others saved him. He also holds a personal grudge against the King as he’s encountered him the most and is carrying Purple’s need for vengeance as well. 1:10:56 This fight serves as a mirror again between the King and Orange, as through the season, the two always have a “dark and light” theme between them. Orange for a short moment, represents what’s left of King’s good conscience, holding him back from attacking Blue in that second, so when King erases Orange, he’s erasing the only positive parts of himself. 1:10:57 Blue takes up a surprisingly short amount of time considering he kicked off this season, but once again, he takes his role as the support of the cast and an opposite to King, (by colour only) 1:11:07 Purple, now reconciled with his past, brings King his own past in this fight. Instead of a straightforward assault, Purple throws Yellow, the same colour as King’s son, towards King. However, King naturally dismisses Purple as he has for the past season and focuses instantly on Yellow. 1:11:08 King struggles or hesitates for a second when attacking Yellow, but then treats his erasure with a lot more brutality than the others, probably because he sees it as erasing his past.

Can we just appreciate how the slow motion at 1:02:15 lined up for all 3 stories? Didnt even notice at first, this man put so much effort in the smallest details, and it shows!

Orange does some ice skating 49:27 King Orange doesn't give a damn, literally pushes them away with little movement 1:09:04 At 1:11:07 King Orange looks at purple for just a moment after launching purple, probably foreshadowing his realisation. King Orange has already won, but he realises that his revenge for his son which means destroying Minecraft has gone too far as to doing the same to go through with his intentions. King Orange is killing purple with Minecraft like how Minecraft killed his son. 1:12:40 At 1:14:40 The drawing of King Orange hitting the Minecraft block with Gold could mean him destroying Minecraft because of Golds death(mentally) while it switches to purple which could mean him destroying Minecraft using Purple(physically). At 1:17:27 when Purple passes the crown onto Reuben could mean another tribute to Technoblade. Herobrine clunks 1:15:54 About Purple and King Orange is that they never knew each others backstory, Purple didn't know King Orange had his son taken while King Orange didn't know Purple lived with abusive dad. In 1:02:11 when Purples dad switches to King Orange could mean that 1. Purple wants their dad to be proud of them. 2. Purple thinks of King Orange somewhat as their dad. The stickmen lined up in a rainbow in 21:58 The season starts with chirp playing, and it ends with chirp playing. Truly, just truly a beautiful series.

One thing I don’t see anyone talk about are the “extra” content we get from this, just shows how much Alan cares about us by making the storyline coherent ( for context I thought he was just going to line up the episodes in real time, not add more things)

49:32 is making me wanna cry look at purples reaction to being betrayed by king orange its so sad (also I'm a huge fan of the entire parkour in real time section, specifically Orange, because his is literally just Loony tunes the entire time while pissing off the pigling brute, and blue trying to get out of the first section because its cool to see his character displayed with him only trying fighting as a last resort)

Just imagine what the reaction would of been if Alan sat down at his desk at 1:15:28

It’s so beautiful how something as simple as a drawn stick figure gone rogue can create a spark that eventually grows into something as incredible and amazing as this. The worldbuilding, the storytelling, the character arcs and backstories! And the fact that you had to tell the whole story without so much as a single word being uttered from any stick figures! Alan Becker is the true definition of "show, don't tell". An amazing story, told without any spoken language. Weird to think that this whole season started because of blue's netherwart addiction.

knowing how much new content had to be animated to fit some of the time gaps, i am thoroughly impressed. compared to big animation studios like dreamworks and pixar, the alan becker team is absolutely crazy.

The level of attention to detail and maintaining consistency just by adding new scenes to make the experience more enjoyable for us is astounding. Alan really does everything for his fans, it’s heartwarming and amazing. ❤

Holy crap dude. Its not often, in fact its pretty rare for a story to make me cry, but god did you do it Alan. Everyone involved in this did an excellent job and made a damn masterpiece. The storytelling was phenomenal and very well developed. Even without words I could still tell what was being said through lovely animation that really helped bring out the emotional impact of the entire thing. There's a parallel universe in the middle involving a school and a musical, which I rewound and watched 5 times to looking at each story. It's brilliant. By the end, I genuinely feel happy for them. After watching it, only one words come to my mind: Masterpiece.

The re-done parkour chapter to make it more consistent (as well as fix Reuben's weird ability to just teleport in one cut) and utilize more of the widescreen was just superb. The extra warden memories along with the extra village scenes was the icing on the cake.

Love it! I know people believe the ending means king was doing what he was going against (with purple) but how I feel about this is that they were father and son or at least purple saw the king as one. I think this points to how everyone sees their parents (as a grim figure who doesn't care) VS how they actually are and what their intentions are (protecting at all costs willing to destroy worlds for them) and vice versa how parents see their children being all happy (yellow) while they face sadness and depression (making them darker being purple). To be honest the fact that people (like me) can connect on so many levels and getting so deep with it shows how strong the script is. Keep up the good work Alan!

I watched the entire thing. the lore and order is insane. the storytelling is a whole another level. crazy of how it started from the addiction of nether wart.

Considering that the Minecraft icon can be used to spawn items at will, this entire season could've been avoided if Blue had spent three seconds thinking.

After two months I finally finished watching it, that was amazing. 😭 This is a masterpiece, not just the standalone episodes but this real time version is just incredible. Everything worked so well together it's amazing. It's the greatest technical achievement of all time for indie animation, and I'm so glad it was done with Stick Figures. The only part I thought didn't work that well was during Note Block Universe, those parts are really better on their own, but they still had some amazing moments put together like that. There were also some spots that could have also had more "real time" moments, but it's still a masterpiece. You and your team are amazing Alan. =)

As someone who didn't watch each episode individually its really fun to see how all the events link up together, and all the surprises that comes with watching multiple timelines at once. I sometimes have to rewind the video to focus on another person's perspective to get what suddenly happened in the perspective of the one I originally focused on. For example, I was watching Orange coming back to fight The King with the Warden when suddenly Blue and Yellow emerges with a giant Ravager! I was so shocked so i had to rewind it and it was nice to see the lead up to those events

Man, just . . . this. This series is one of the greatest I've ever come across, both in terms of animation and story. The concept is so simple but in draws you in so completely. You forget that you're watching multi-colored stick figures in Minecraft. The characters speak volumes even though they can't talk. You connect with their personalities and their struggles, wants, and desires. The animation is so smooth and the fights are a real highlight. There's so much going on and I'm always finding new stuff when I rewatch an episode. Each character has their own style of how they fight and what they fight with. They work well together, seamlessly bouncing off their friends like well rehearsed choreography. Each character has their own 'thing' that contributes to how they act and what they do on a regular basis. Everyone has their favorites, but I think the story of Purple and King Orange is a real highlight for all of us. Both had their families ripped apart and both tried to find a way to fix that. They ended up finding each other without really realizing. King Orange became the father Purple longed for and Purple became King Orange's son, fixing the gaping hole in his heart and mending some of his hurt. I think we can all agree that it's a very happy ending. Before I go, I want to talk about how beautiful the ending of this season is. It does a few things to call back to the original Animation vs. Minecraft (like Herobrine possessing Red again) but the most prominent thing is the final charge to stop the apocalypse. It doesn't take much to realize it's very reminiscent of when Orange and his friends fought to dunk the sourceblock in the trash bin and keep it away from Herobrine. Seeing everyone work together like they did then (with the inclusion of Red this time) is absolutely beautiful. Words can't quite describe it. It feels very conclusive and I thought it would be the end. I was very happy when another episode came out after this and confirmed that things would continue. So I guess, in conclusion, thank you so much to Alan Becker and his team for doing all of this for us. It's downright incredible. It's amazing! Keep doing what you're doing. We'll be with you every step of the way.

And no one’s talking about the fact that these are all timed to fit well together in a coherent story, this is insane!

To see how the entire season 3 of AVM was mapped out and all the events played simultaneously is amazing. Alan and his team never ceases to amaze us. I swear that he needs to win an Oscar for some of his animations.

The fact that you added something to your animations to make them feel more lively is a great concept and works very well in explaining the plot.

On 12:15, Blue stomps on the ground as an attempt to get out of the white screen, falls endlessly in the process, and then start swimming, so it probably means that at one point, the witch went into the water.

I don't know if anyone's talked about this, but I think that the way the music lines up and switches between each theme deserves a ton of credit! How much the different melodies bring to the table can't be understated.

TSC: we’ve being walking for a few days (Minecraft day and night cycle is every 20 minutes) Why I’m not tired? I don’t know…feels like I’ve got some sort of unlimited internal energy and stamina from somewhere.

The amount of work that went into this is absolutely INSANE. The scenes lining up, the music lining up, everything is immaculate. This is a MASTERPIECE.

I still cannot, and will never, get over just how amazing this series has been, since the very start, since I first watched AvA 1. And just the amount of power and feeling you can put into something with never, ever a single word uttered, and practically no facial expressions whatsoever. It's just... absolutely beautiful. I am so glad to have stumbled upon AvA 1 by random happenstance so many years ago now. This has been great, and I can only look forward to more--- keep up the good work, Alan. You're absolutely amazing.

The fact that the fight against The King and Purple commenced simultaneously is just masterclass poetry. And also, especially in the second half, it was IMPOSSIBLE to be bored because of the amount of content going on on-screen at once but the thing is - it never forces you to acknowledge all of it at once: you just watch the windows you like.
