The former Egyptian TV icon called accusations of anti-Semitism against him "laughable". Calling the label "overused", especially against Jews supporting the Palestinian cause, he said anti-Semitism "has become a comical accusation". "Anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism," he added.

The journalist asked the questions he felt he had to ask, probably to answer the questions a lot of the French public has. He was respectful and Bassem Youssef answered well, although he looked impatient. He's probably been asked the same questions countless times.

The journalist acts like an AI machine. He has a set of questions which he quickly wants to ask. He is too passive. There is no interaction, no turn-taking nor commenting on Bassem’s answers. Bassem makes it clear that he is here to talk about his show, he’s ended up talking about politics. You can see how Bassem is feeling bored! 😀
