I get why people say his music is very "samey" but this honestly has its own feel. Not many people are doing it like this so he's kind of cornering a market. Even if they all sound the same, he doesn't sound like anyone else.

This is a solid album although I find the majority of the instrumentals to be really bland and in some cases a bit samey. I want to say it's the abundance of acoustics but Oliver has always been using acoustics and honestly they were always fantastic (Miracle Man, Let Me Down etc.) Still, I vibe to this.

I’m reminded of Beck and Cage The Elephant doing the artsy country theme; it’s so edgy and catchy…venturing into a new territory. I saw an interview where he said he was doing country and I couldn’t see it but now it all makes sense. I’m frustrated with Oliver Tree because I like him but how he acts towards other people working with him is just childish and mean. But what brings me back is that he makes himself so vulnerable and accessible to the weirdos, like me!!!😂
